The Lucky Dog Gastropub

I went to The Lucky Dog Gastropub for the first time today and can say without hesitation that this was and excellent dining experience! The ambiance is warm and inviting, the food is like one big hug, and the staff feel like family. The owner, Barrie, told me about her passion for cooking and how she loves to serve up hearty home cooked meals made with love by her husband, Lucky Dog’s chef. You can physically feel the love and sheer pride oozing out of this restaurant, which is why I will be returning several times over...especially for their chicken pot pie! The drinks were fantastic (try the hot cocoa) and the entire brunch menu is absolutely delicious. Indulgent in the best way!

This place is gorgeous, let's start there. And then the most deliciously messy, sweet, steamy, juicy magical goodness of the fried chicken sandwich with honey and bacon. So so good! Our server Erin was sweet and was available when we needed her but not hovering like a ghost while we were there. I will definitely go back when I'm in town again.

It's difficult to know what to expect when you walk up and into this restaurant but let me assure you that you will not be disappointed. However, the Lucky Dog has top notch management with excellent food. We were delighted after eating here and will recommend this cozy establishment to anyone staying in the area.

Loved our experience here. The dining area is beautiful and the food is delicious. It was the day of the kentucky derby and I had a mint julep that was fantastic and our waitress michelle was very friendly. Would recommend.

What a find! Awesome vibe. Really friendly staff. Wonderful menu with creative choices. The bucket of balls was delish. Great mojito and other cocktails! Apple cake was an amazing finish! Wish we could move it to Florida. We will come back next time we're in town!

One of the best bars I've ever been to! Felt completely at home and welcomed. Making a goal to try all of their specialty cocktails. Would recommend the Buddha lemonade to EVERYONE. And the bartenders are awesome, Justine was even willing to pay song associates with us!

Oh and did i mention the paper straws! Love that they're eco conscious.

Brunch was amazing this afternoon. We had such a wonderful waitress keeping our toddler occupied by playing connect 4. The french toast was tasty. My friends had had the bloody mary and said it was delicious. I had the mimosa it tasted prefect!

Everything was incredible! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks were fantastic. The service was quick. And the food was AMAZING! We will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area!

Truffle burger. 'nuff said. But no, it really was the best burger I think I've ever had. Atmosphere, staff, and food all excellent. Will definitely return if ever back in the area.

I odered the lunch special grilled Mac and cheese sandwich with bacon..It was absolutely amazing!!!! I will be getting this sandwich again❤

Amazing food, great service. During this time they are taking every precaution. Samson burger was amazing and brisket grilled cheese even better!!!

My husband and I with my best friend and daughter went to Lucky Dog last weekend for the game. First off the food was amazing. My daughter and I had chicken and waffles. They were the best chicken and waffles I ever had. My daughter also had their hot chocolate cake also highly recommend! The staff was amazing as well. The cook came from the back with the owner to talk to us. The nicest people ever. The atmosphere is great. We enjoyed everything about this place from the food to drinks to friendly staff. We will be back. Definitely on our favorites list.

Everyone is so nice and loves working there. The food is AMAZING and homemade. Me and my family had the waitress Keirstein, and she was amazing as well. The chef Zeus was really nice as well as the owner. Nice cozy atmosphere. Takes a little bit for the food to come out but it was so worth it. The owner gave me a hot chocolate cake on the house which was really nice as well as giving my aunt one of their beer glasses. Found a new place to go out with friends and family. 5 stars and I would tell everyone about this place. Also big thanks to the staff and owners for being so nice. Never been to a restaurant where the staff looked happy even away from the customers.

Food is high quality. You can tell the chef enjoys his work! The menu changes every so often with new delicious items. Great Atmosphere. Large Bar area and Big dining room areas. Tastefully decorated.

Our waiter made our very first visit an incredible experience. He helped us with phone rewards, was always there when we needed him, and even had a replacement set of utensils ready for me seconds after I had dropped my fork.

To top it off, the food is amazing. Can't wait to go back.

We went there for my birthday and really enjoyed the experience. The chicken parmesan was simply excellent. My wife really like the fettuccine with shrimp also. Appetizers were delicious as well. Service was prompt courteous and everything you could ask for. I'm glad we chose to Lucky Dog for my birthday dinner. As a bonus, we are dog lovers and really like the dog motif artwork throughout.

Went here for trivia on Wednesday evening. It was pretty crowded, but we were seated quickly and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The beer specials were great and all of our orders came quickly!

Service was exceptional, the happy hour appetizers were delicious and a great value. I was celebrating my birthday and thank you for the free cocktail. We will definitely return.

We just had our daughters graduation party in the beautiful upstairs area of The Lucky Dog. Barrie and her staff, Theresa and Long made our day so very special. You were extremely accommodating to our guests, and your hard work was greatly appreciated!!!! The food was amazing and you made sure our guests with dietary restrictions were well taken care of. It was the perfect day!!! I highly recommend The Lucky Dog for anyone looking for a fun party, you will be extremely happy with the outcome. Kudos to Barrie and her staff!!!

They have Guiness! Awesome! I wish they would serve it in a proper glass but still tastes great. The burgers here are very very good. It says on the menu they use their own blend of beef, etc to make the patties and it turns out delicious. Many TVs and plenty of room at the bar.
