With a reservation in hand (highly recommended due to the restaurant's popularity), we were promptly greeted by the ever-friendly and smiling hostess and escorted to our table on the second floor, boasting magnificent views of the waterfront.

The culinary journey commenced with dishes that tantalized the taste buds, showcasing some of the finest seafood offerings in the area. Each bite was a testament to the kitchen's dedication to quality and flavor, leaving us thoroughly impressed.

However, it wasn't just the cuisine that left a lasting impression; the staff's professionalism and efficiency added to the overall dining experience. Our server, Arsen, deserves special recognition for his impeccable service. His knowledge, attentiveness, and unwavering professionalism ensured that every aspect of our meal was nothing short of perfection.

Dinner was amazing. We’re not from the area and found the restaurant on Google after going to the aquarium. The fried oysters were absolutely amazing. My wife and I both had the clams and linguini and we both agreed that it was the best either of us either had. My son had the grilled swordfish which was also great. We’ll definitely be back when we’re back in that area.

The place is so cute, great view. Need to make reservations because it is usually full. We had small raw oyster platter and was great. Then wine mussles and those were to Kill for. Pretty large wine selection.

Celebrated my fiancés birthday here and everything starting from the hostess attentiveness to the amazing server we had (Arsen) to the delicious food left us all with a memorable experience. I recommend the Rowayton Lobster Roll!!

It was extremely busy on Friday night but we got seated right away, making a reservation is highly recommended. The tinned fish appetizer + lobster bisque + miso glazed salmon were delicious.

Rowayton Seafood is truly incredible - from their slowly steamed lobster to their meticulously-presented shrimp, everything good can be found at this restaurant!

The prices are very reasonable, too - it was just over $200 for five people.

I would recommend eating here if you’re in Stamford or Rowayton!

Can't say enough about the food, the drinks the service and the atmosphere. The entire experience was A+. From the oysters and Tuna to the Fish Special and linguini with Clam Sauce, all fresh and delicious. Creative drink menu and lovely heated outside area added to the lovely evening. And our server Maria was a huge part of making our evening fantastic. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Amazing local seafood with a great view. Exceptional service. Delicious raw oysters (Nova Scotia) and very well prepared roasted oysters for those of us avoiding raw food — in fact these are the best prepared cooked oysters I’ve had. Besides the taste, they seemed fairly healthy (not overly fried), though definitely not vegan, dairy or gluten-free. The perfectly baked cheese with slightly burned edges contributed to a well-orchestrated flavor explosion!

The next delicious recommendation I can make is for the crab cakes. Some of the best tasting ones — light and fluffy with distinct chunks of Maine crab meat in the mix. Again, they are breaded, so not GF.

Phenomenal key lime pie served with truly tasty whipped cream and strawberries.

The wine is French sauvignon blank - absolutely delightful.

My parents and I had lunch at this restaurant on Father's day, and it was perfect. I didn't make a prior reservation, but they were able to find a table for us anyway.
The food that was served was delicious. Every fish dish was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Based on what we ate, I can definitely recommend Barramundi Milanese, Fish and Chips and Blueberry Pie for dessert. The service was also excellent.
As far as parking is concerned, the restaurant has valet parking, or you can try to find a spot on the nearby streets yourself.

Rowayton Seafood has been added to my list of favorite spots for waterfront dining! The views were stunning and the food was equally as delicious. Their hot lobster roll is one of the best I’ve had, and the same goes for the roasted oysters. We ordered the clam chowder poutine because of how unique it was, and we’re so glad we did because we fell in love! Stunning cocktails and presentations of dishes with exceptionally fresh seafood. All of the staff we encountered were very professional, and they even encouraged us to check out the fire pits and uncovered deck in the back for the best view. Loved the seafood market on the property as well. I can’t wait to come back when the weather gets warmer to enjoy it Rowayton Seafood all over again!

We celebrated my birthday here and the food was so delicious as usual!!! We had muscles, shrimp, grits, and apple pie. Every time we go, our food is perfect!

Always amazing service! We love coming a little early to hang at the bar and feel the vibe. Bartenders are just amazing and personable. Food, as always, is just top notch! Great seafood. Not in the pricey side and you just get some amazing tasting food. Highly recommend their brussel sprout side. You can't get better than Rowayton,.especially during the Spring and summer months.

Generally the food is very good and some dishes really exceptional (last years halibut), service however is more erratic - some delightful and welcoming and others less so.
Love steamers but wont order them again as served in a low flat bowl and cold the minute the dish is set down. Please put them in a type of bucket or cocotte to keep them warm because dipping them in cold cooking juice and butter doesn't improve them. That said, we'll return.
If you want a sea view table make sure to book in advance as they go quick.

Hands down the best seafood restaurant in Fairfield County! We have been a hand full of times this summer and have nothing but good things to say about the food, drinks, vibe and service. We usually get oysters, the shrimp cocktail, clam chowder, lobster mac and cheese and lobster rolls 🦞. Always fresh and delicious enjoyed with a beautiful view of the water (especially if you can sit outside). With quality and quantity going down and prices going up at most restaurants due to inflation, Rowayton Seafood is the only place I get excited to visit these days.

Everything was amazing from our drinks to our entrees! Our bartender was friendly, attentive and very helpful with menu selections. We love sitting at the bar and interacting with people, especially with a great bartender and manager who is a bourbon aficionado!! We had a great time today talking about their excellent bourbon selection. All in all a great meal and hands down an awesome place for a picture perfect day.

One of the best places to get fresh seafood in Connecticut! The ambience, service, cocktails, and food is top notch. Make sure you try their terrific appetizers! The extensive, award-winning wine list is a tribute to management.

Visiting NY from Seattle and found this restaurant while looking for a restaurant with good lobster.

Parking was a little difficult but valet was offered as an alternative. I highly suggest making a reservation, as both inside and outside seating were completely full, and stay to watch the sunset. The view and atmosphere were great. Free wifi is available but not reachable from the outdoor seating along the water near the boat slips.

Everything was good. Surprisingly I enjoyed my crab “stuffing” (aka crab cakes) more than the steamed lobster and lobster bisque I originally came for.

The view from our table was beautiful. I could have sat there all day. The service was amazing and the food, de-lightful! It’s a must try place!

Your restaurant is consistently the best dining experience we have in our area. It is always a treat when we dine with you because we walk away knowing every penny we have spent is worth it in every way. The food is spectacular - the other night we loved dining inside looking out across the bay and the entire place felt festive and warm. Your menu choices were great - we loved the buffalo cauliflower, crab cakes, tuna tartare, lobster bisque, seafood chowder! and all your deserts.
