This place was awesome. I took my old running shoes in, he took one look at them and knew instantly what was going on and how to correct it! I would highly recommend this store to anyone! Friendly and knowledgable staff! My wife and I tried on several different pairs, ran in the store and on the sidewalk out front until we found a comfortable pair. We both walked out with new shoes (Altara Space).

Great service - needed some walking shoes for my wife and the shopping experience was nice and painless.

Stopped in for the second time today, now my second pair of altras from them. The staff and I’m assuming the owner were very knowledgeable and helpful. They carry a great selection, to properly fit your needs. We will definitely use them again and recommend to anybody in need of a quality shoe store.

Although I am not a runner, I found the store to have a great vibe and the guys working there were really helpful. I went in for a pro stretch, asked about shoes and ended up purchasing a pair.
I have always bought less expensive shoes which weren’t helping my body. I noticed an immediate difference in comfort and posture. One month later, still loving my shoes.

I have always had foot issues but was never one to invest in expensive footwear and would make do with whatever I could find at the low-cost. When I really started having foot issues and went to the doctor, he recommended this company in Collegeville and I was very impressed with how they fitted me carefully and picked a walking shoe that felt like a glove the moment I put it on. I am about to buy my third pair of white leather Brooks. The cost is well worth the investment. I can stand and move around in them for hours doing my dog grooming and not notice any problems with my feet. Very impressed and I recommend them to others.

I was looking for a pair of walking shoes when I went online and found the good reviews for this place. The reviews did not lie. The staff was very friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable. They took their time with me and made sure that I had the right pair of shoes for me, and not whatever the most expensive pair they had was. Ultimately, they let me pick based on what worked best for me. If you need a pair of shoes for exercise, this is the place to go. The staff even use the shoes they sell.

This was my first time shopping at a specialty store. I am just starting to run and my doctor recommended good sneakers due to back and knee problems.
This place was great. The guy went through a variety of measurements and tests before going into the back and bringing out three different styles of sneakers. He really took his time helping me and I left with a really comfortable pair of sneakers.

My sneakers were years old and had no support and very little tread left. My wife suggested going here because they really take the time to find the right shoe for your needs. She was right. The lady that helped us evaluated our arches, how much we pronated and our gate among other things. She then helped us try on several different pairs of shoes allowing us to walk and jog in them on the small track in the store. I also liked that they didn't push the expensive sneakers on us. In fact, she was having me compare the clearance sneakers to the non-clearance sneakers. I left the store feeling I had picked the best pair of sneakers for me. After going out running in the new sneakers a few times, I'm still very happy with my choice and would definitely go back again.

Valley Forge Running is the best shoe store I have ever been to ! Real friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was just looking around for good running shoes. I got so much information about how to read your foot style. I highly recommend this store for running shoes. Also you get to support a family owned store instead of a corporate company.

Knowledgeable staff ( Thanks Jeff ) Needed a pair of new sneakers for walking and they hooked me up. Didn't realize how much good footwear affected comfort just walking around. Glad I was told about the place.

Excellent shop, Jeff was great. Got a pair of running shoes and more cushioned running shoes for working as a nurse. Will be back when I need another pair! I see lots of good accessories too...

Friendly and knowledgable staff.

Helped me find the right pair of shoes by doing a gait analysis. I'm confident that with the shoes I have now, I can prevent any kind of running- related injury.

Also, they exchanged a pair of shoes for me when my original shoes had a slight defect. They did this at no additional cost.

I used to screw around with sneakers from dick's or dsw for my running gear. Then i got plantar fascitis. I've been buying shoes here since then. Haven't had a problem since. Nice place and you'll get individual attention from people who specialize in running.

These guys get you in the best shoe for your running needs. They identified the type of shoe I needed to match my running style and foot type. Running more comfortable and less pain.

The staff is knowledgeable and will work with you to find the best products for you! I won't buy my shoes anywhere else.
