The Farmer's Grind

I stumbled upon this place in need of coffee on a late Sunday morning. I now want to move to the neighborhood so I can have coffee and breakfast here every day. The house roasted flavored coffees are out of this world, the avocado toast is awesome. People are friendly and clean. Sometimes you may have to be a little patient though. Love this place.

Wow. The Farmer's Grind is amazing every time! Friendly staff, cutest atmosphere and, of course the best food! Great coffee, sammies that are greater than the sum of their parts, delicious ice cream, and carefully curated local baked goods, prepared foods, and produce. What more could you ask for? I seriously would eat here every day. The photo doesn't do it justice.

This place is really nice. I never knew of them in all the years I drove by…basically a diamond in the rough. I had been in South Salem using the holistic animal hospital down the road and never knew about the farmers grind until someone told me about it. I went there for three days straight, and they supplied me with coffee and food & I couldn’t have been happier. I actually liked them so much that I went back again a couple of weeks ago because I was in the area and it was a delight to step foot back into this place. I was over by the prepared food section and somebody came up to help me even without me asking for any help and I thought that was nice. All in all, it’s a great place if you want a good cup of coffee and healthy prepared foods. I definitely will be visiting again on my future trips to South Salem.

We worked with the Farmer's Grind to provide food for us and our friends while we were getting ready for our June 2021 wedding in South Salem. Working with them was one of the easiest/best parts of our planning experience. They were fun, flexible, and so helpful the entire time. They planned a custom menu for us based on our taste + extreme dietary requirements - vegan with some gluten-free guests. Everything was delicious- from the homemade lemonade to the sandwiches and fruit. They also delivered the food to both our houses and set it up beautifully. I highly, highly recommend them for any catering needs / lunch - great food and people!

I visited today for the first time and 2 words extremely delicious! They have the most amazing salads and sandwiches! They also have the best coffee, I mean come on maple coffee WOW!! Very fresh! The staff were very friendly and helpful. This place has something for everyone even delicious Polish food. I'm so impressed and definitely will be going back soon. This is my happy place!!

The Farmer’s Grind is my favorite lunch spot in the New Canaan area! Their fresh sandwiches and salads are delicious, they have the best dark roast iced coffee, the s’mores bar is crave-worthy, and you never know what goodies you might find in their refrigerator or dessert case to take home. Oh and the staff is great! Highly highly recommend.

One of my favorite finds after moving to the area. My husband and I probably go once a week. The coffee, breakfast bites and lunch sandwiches are all tasty. The staff is friendly, professional and always welcoming.

This country "coffee stand" is an absolute gem, serving the entire range of quality coffee selections supplemented with bakery shop quality cakes, muffins and pastries. Owners Eric and Michele make the experience special with the delightful atmosphere they've created. You cannot do better for coffee, baked goods and prepared foods and produce. Two thumbs up!!

Amazing food and drinks and staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. I always bring my dog and she even thinks it’s great. Definitely recommend stopping for breakfast or lunch

This place is amazing, they offer great breads, soups, lattes, coffee, baked goods etc. The maple latte and chicken dumpling soup arw amazing I highly recommend checking this place out. Not to mention it’s attached to a nursery and garden store but offers tons of different flowers, Trees and one more! Kudos to Eric and Michelle wish you guys the best. Keep on THE GRIND!

Have to start getting their earlier for more selection of Gluten Free treats! Got the last berry muffin of the day and it was delucious!! The GF chocolate chip cookie was delicious and the coffee is great as well.

Moved here recently and was delighted to discover this great little gem - healthy and delicious options and right next to the best garden shop I’ve ever been to. Will be going there a lot. Maybe as it gets warmer we’ll get some outdoor seating among the gorgeous flowers?

Great selection of sandwiches and morning snack…beautiful Coffee…it’s an oasis for the admirers…will keep visiting!!

This little gem is run by the most caring couple and staff imaginable - that's not even touching the delectably fresh array of beautiful prepared breads, sweet, and drinks. Definately worth the deviation if you're looking for the best coffee/café.

Love this place so much - the owners are so sweet. They carry a great selection of prepared foods you can grab for lunch. My go-to order is a latter and avocado toast. It's so good!!!

Best local food and drinks around! Love the maple latte and soups. Good vibes and so great to see a local cafe with such nice people come to Vista! Highly recommend stopping in.
