Kashi

The food was delicious. I happened during the stamford-downtown event, three courses for $40. The rolls flavors were well balenced and well presented. The hot sour soup was great. Crab Mountain was the only thing that was not over the top, but it was still pretty good. But the American dream and sweet 16 rolls were phenomenal. Steven was very helpful and attentive, but I could not have asked for a better dinner.

Food was superb!!! So delicious! The best japanese restaurant in stamford. The server was also so nice and accomodating.

If you want to have sushi at a hip place with good music this is the place. Nice set of sushi options. Amount of fish in the sushi is satisfactory. The sashimi boat was very tasty and smooth.

Super kind staff who were able to get us taken care of before the kitchen closed and make us aware of that (and seriously, big thank you to the team back there!) with delicious food and attentive service.

The cocktails were well balanced, and our sushi was made with care and attention to detail. Super impressed, great music, and will definitely be back -- but hopefully not cutting it so close this time

The best sushi I had in this area , Waw really good 👍.. my friend recommended and I enjoyed it with hot Sake… recommended . Parking would be tough ,either road side or use target parking for 1$. Ambience and service is awesome.. lot of space so even on busy days you will get seat I guess.

Service is extremely good. Never an unpleasant experience. Attentive of empty dishware and drinks at every turn. Helpful menu info. Immaculate and vibrant dining setup. Smooth ambience and hot bass music. Kashi will always be my favorite restaurant in Stamford.

Close parking for restaurant is throughout the street on side of road and multiple garages. I prefer the garage at end of street - straight down from restaurant and only about two minutes of walking. Paying for parking can be done on mobile website.

During my recent visit to Kashi during Stamford's restaurant week, I had an exceptional experience that stood out in every way. The moment we were seated, the service immediately set a high bar. Our server, whose name we regrettably didn't catch, was the highlight of our evening. He was not only remarkably kind but also infused our dining experience with a delightful sense of humor, making our time there truly enjoyable. His impeccable customer service and attention to detail were second to none, and he undoubtedly deserves recognition, if not a promotion, for his extraordinary efforts.

The food was another major highlight of my group’s visit to Kashi. It arrived promptly, which was impressively quick, and the presentation was visually stunning, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. The quality and flavor of the dishes we tried were outstanding, contributing to a memorable dining experience.

Opting to dine at Kashi during restaurant week was part of my broader initiative to explore Stamford more thoroughly, as I often find myself dining in the city. This visit surprised me and exceeded my expectations, as there were other places where I was disappointed. I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and the atmosphere has convinced me to add Kashi to my list of favorite restaurants and to recommend it to anyone looking for a top-quality dining or a date night experience in Stamford.

The food itself is bomb. The atmosphere is pleasant. On most occasions, the waiters have been great. Although, the last time, the waiter made 4 mistakes during our last visit, one being an overcharge of $40 which is absurd. Otherwise, 4.5/5

First visit here and was quite impressed with the vibe of Kashi!

The service was great, good ambiance and the food is very good! We enjoyed many flavors which included Edamame (small portion), Tempura Shrimp, Blistered Shishito Peppers, & everyone had their own special Sushi Roll.

Overall a great place to enjoy time with friends or just get something delicious to eat!

I went to Kashi for the first time with my friend and it was so nice!! The vibe is so cool and the music is great. The food was DELICIOUS. We came for restaurant week. The bisque was fabulous. Our server, Monica was the best. She was so attentive, personable, and helpful. Shoutout to Monica !!! Will be back! Xo

The shrimp tempura roll and sex on the beach roll are fantastic. The roasted duck appetizer is also delicious. The food here is consistent and staff is friendly.

Great service and oiishii food! Recommended by my dentist from Stamford Dental Spa. Excellent choice! Haven't been to a nice dining place since covid and it's a chic sushi, surprise to find their extended Restaurant Week menu. Salmon capaccio, their signature rolls 'out of Control' and 'Sex on the Beach', we also tried their flight of 3 sake, now gonna head to wine store to stock up some Nigori sake. After wall great experience with auto thermostat at the entrance, socially distanced tables, friendly staff (Johnathan is great) Definitely be back again.

Amazing and delicious rolls. Deserts just perfect. Not too far public parking lot. Great interior. And nice service.

Great outdoor seating. Food is good. Staff is nice. Right in the downtown. Not too expensive (atleast what we tried). The vegetarian hand rolls are delicious. If you like peanuts do order the peanut avocado.

Food was so good!!! The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. And the atmosphere is photo worthy.

Best Sushi and Sashimi in the area hands down. Service is on point and the food preparation and presentation is on another level. So beautiful, so fresh and the unique sauces and combinations make this a must try. My large party have had a great time everytime we choose Kashi for dinner.

Absolutely spectacular sushi! Ordered in from Uber Eats at 7p and it arrived in 30 minutes.
So fresh and tasty. And the keepsake bag the food is delivered in is awesome too.

Their CHEESECAKE!!!!!!!!! 10 STARS, it was the vanilla bean cheesecake that took the prize home for me in this establishment! Hahaha over all I’d recommend this place 100% the food was delicious

High quality sashimi that are fairly priced. The environment feels like a pub than a traditional Japanese restaurant 😂 seaweed salad is great. The sweet shrimp sashimi is delicious! Salmon is thick and tasty as well. Good food, good experience

The service was great and friendly. I asked what was the spiciest sushi roll and got it. Also got to try a bit of the fish and veggies which I enjoyed as well. Calamari was great and the sauces were not too salty or bland. Lastly, great music selection throughout the night.
