I'd give this chic, diner-like joint 10 stars if I could! Located one block off the restaurant row of historic SoNo, SHD&C serves delicious breakfast staples at reasonable prices. Staff and servers were friendly and attentive. We arrived at around 11:30 Sunday at the end of the morning rush. The establishment was bustling but we were seated right away at the only table available! The pancakes were the best I have ever had. Can't wait to become a regular here.

Such a cozy, deeply satisfying cafe. Food is super tasty with generous portions. Coffee is awesome - I had want sounded like a frappe but was described as a Greek coffee. It was GOOOD.

Great place to enjoy breakfast. It appears that a lot of locals go there daily, the police stop for coffee and people walking their dogs. The cafe was clean and well maintained. You can either eat up at the counter, tables or high tops. Breakfast was so filling that we didn't need lunch. We will definitely visit this place again before we leave.

Delicious breakfasts- Blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup-YUM! friendly and efficient service, great breads and egg dishes too. You HAVE TO TRY their Hot Pastrami sandwiches with Amer Cheese!! They are To-Die for!!!!
Veggie Omelet was wonderful. Don't forget about some classic basics like a Grilled with Butter Corn Muffin!
Delicious, and healthy, Veggie Lovers' Omelet today (8/15/22). They know how to make large chunk potato hash browns! Only 3 small slices of ( a side of ) avocado was funny - please consider doubling the portion size and charge more. Always efficient and friendly servers.

Best diner in Norwalk for breakfast or lunch. The food is always delicious, and the service is friendly and attentive. Cute little spot to grab a bite. The coffee is amazing, too. Try an oatmilk latte. You can thank me later. 🙂

The best restaurant in Norwalk and some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had.
I ordered a small Greek salad with chicken souvlaki and a side of sweet potato fries. The chicken was perfectly marinated and the salad had the right amount of dressing. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection, they were crispy, fresh and wonderful. My husband ordered the Greek protein breakfast wrap and he said it was great.
My husband and I both ordered a freddo espresso (iced espresso), and we felt like we were back in Cyprus.
The waitresses were all so friendly and welcoming. If we’re ever back in Connecticut, we’re definitely coming back to this locally owned restaurant.

Lovely cafe that serves breakfast and lunch (they don't do dinner) and has a lovely, attentive wait staff and delicious food (I had the coffee and a bacon egg + cheese sandwich on a roll). It's truly a hidden gem and a very relaxed, informal spot to have a bite to eat, be it solo or with a few friends.

Had really good lunch sandwiches here. Cosy lunch spot, casual and homely vibe. We ordered hot chocolate and they came in big mugs, exactly what you want on a cold day.

Gorgeous place delicious food cozy atmosphere downtown Norwalk close to water so if you want to text spend time cool and nice come here and take your breakfast lunch or dinner whatever you like it food is delicious so thank you friends your company of calm yourself alone but enjoy spend time here I am recommended!!!

My go to place for breakfast every time. Cute convenient spot with great omelettes and piping hot dinner coffee served in a thick white mug just as god intended.

My favorite spot when I go to visit my daughter and SONO. Banana nut pancakes are the best with a side of eggs to dip. And the coffee is always so delicious and so are ALL the staff is extra Nice. ❤🤗

That everyone in there was trying the best to please everyone with a super nice energy even though the place was packed. Very thankful with Kevin and Katherine that took care of us.
Later I met Peter which I believe is the owner/manager and he was super kind too.

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. I usually take-out, but it’s a cute dinner with bar and table seating.

I grab a salad here most weeks. All the ingredients are fresh. I recommended adding the “spicy” chicken (it’s like a level 1 spice). The chicken is grilled, gets served warm and it’s so yummy.

My office will occasionally order breakfast sandwiches and they’re always really good!

Was on route to the office in Norwalk but after getting off train from NYC I thought breakfast was in order. This was just the trick, quick service and delicious food !

The three times I visited the food was delicious and served quickly. The staff is very kind.
