Dunville's Restaurant

Tried out Dunville's offering at the Chili cook off at SoNo Mall today.

The famous beanless all beef chili was quite nice, not too spicy with a very protein forward flavor profile. Overall a great bite that made me interested in seeing the rest of their menu.

My first post-pandemic, solo trip out for a drink was to Dunville's. The bartender. Glenn made me feel welcome and mixed an excellent Manhattan. In no time at all, he and the other customers at the bar and I exchanging memories of old time Westport. The burger and fries I ordered were outstanding. The burger was perfectly cooked and flavorful and the fries were as crisp as I like them.
Glenn was fun and engaging...a real improvement over the places I've been where a single woman is often treated as though invisible.
If you're looking for good food and a welcoming place to have a cocktail, I can' t think of a better place than Dunville's, especially when Glen is working the bar.

Lived here my whole life, and this is my favorite place to bring people when they're in town. Great food, great atmosphere, and some great live music. The clams casino, clam chowder, and burgers are all to die for! Can't wait to come back when things open up.

Been going here for 25 years. The people are awesome, and the food is always surprisingly good. This place is casual enough for a burger with friends, but still ok for a quick bite with a colleague.

My favorite dive bar in Westport. Very small bar and larger dining area with a rustic, neighborhood vibe. Friendly bartenders pour generous drinks. There's always a game on. You'd never guess from appearances how great the food is. We go often for lunch.

Fun staff. Good bar food. What more could you ask for?! Try the Sunday special drink - good even on a Wednesday. A true "local". It's been around for decades - and will be here for many more to come. Remember the TV show Cheers? Yep, everyone knows your name here.

Dunvilles is a decades old Westport bar and gathering place - the food is great for lunch and dinner - but the place gets packed for music and drinking at certain times as it is a favorite Westport watering hole where many love to meet and party. The owner and staff are friendly and good natured!!!

This is the classiest local bar in Westport. An establishment for probably over 50 years, the staff is friendly professional and helpful and always ready with a good story. Great food and good times, this is real Westport!

My hangout when I lived in CT and still my favorite place to go when I visit. Excellent food, especially the London Broil and Eggs Benny. Great staff and owner!
