Got the double burger and almost drowned in the amount of meat, it was amazing. Just sad I'll probably never get to eat here again 🥲

Good food good price. Easy off interstate easy back on. Friendly staff quickly waited on. Very interesting stuff on the walls to look at. Nice booths in restaurant, all under the same roof as a little store. Clean restroom.

The couple that own The Fence Post are our "Good Samaritans". We were traveling thru Iowa on our way to Yellowstone with grandkids when our camper tire totally shredded. We pulled off the hwy and there was The Fence Post which seemed to be the only bit of civilization nearby! The owner came out immediately n had the tools needed. He helped us
put on new tire and then offered us a great cup of coffee for the road.

Wonderful, quaint place with great food and like an authentic step back in time with war era memorabilia from the family. Love everything about this place and the people who run it!

Excellent down home campgrounds restaurant & convenience store. The wonderful yesteryear memorabilia on the walls is worth the stop...not to mention their great food & unmatchable hospitality!

This place was so good and accompanied 12 of us as we traveled home from vacation. Bathrooms were clean and the food was amazing. Thank you so much!!

Stopped by for a cup of coffee and was very pleased, very friendly owners and will stop by again. She gave us a little history of the campground and was a pleasure to talk to!

The food and .employees seem to be good , friendly folks, and it is a great place for food and to think Lewis and Clark, kinda hung out in tnrze parts

The Fencepost is a casual, friendly eatery where the experience is every bit as good as the food.

They fixed us a special breakfast and it was just like visiting old friends. So nice and welcoming!
