La Maria Mexican Restaurant

Redemption! Took a chance, after having a not so great experience many months ago, and was BEYOND pleased. The food was wonderful, drinks were great and the service was pretty good even during a lunch rush on a Sunday. I would NOT recommend the Chile Rellano, but everything else was fantastic!!

We love the La Maria Fajita Nachos....it's a huge serving so we have a small guacamole and chips and salsa and then share the meal

Excellent Chimichangas and really good salsa and queso, too. Our waitress was great!!

Service was very friendly, food was a great mix of tex-mex and large portions for the prices. The guacamole tasted fresh and the margaritas were strong. This is a really great place in a small town and definitely worth trying if your live nearby or are just passing through.

A MUST VISIT if you’re in town! Get a margarita and try their awesome queso. Staff is amazing too!

The restaurant let us host a bachelorette party. We got to bring decorations and have a corner reserved all to ourselves. They were timely with responses and answered all my questions. They also did their best to keep costs down and to help me navigate feeding a group. As always, the food was delicious. This is one of my favorite places to eat in town. Would highly recommend for any type of occasion!

Amazing Atmosphere. The food was sublime and the staff was great. We were here on vacation and needed a nice spot to eat! We had Montana as a server and honestly she was amazing. She was so kind and recommended some amazing dishes!!! 10/10 recommend.

Nice fresh and tasty snack of chips, guacamole, salsa and queso. Loved the sparkling water, but it should have been cold. It isn't really that good over ice. But I will not hesitate to return. Thank you for the great service to the new girl.

I go here quite often next time I'll put a pic of what my usual is in the burrito California. It's tasty most of the time, the staff is kinda meh tho.

Was a really enjoyable visit. Tried something new (crab and shrimp enchiladas) and it was good. Our waitress was amazing. Definitely going back

Great atmosphere, comfortable seating with lots of light, easy parking, excellent menu options, fantastic attentive server, delicious food. Would def eat here again. This is by far the better and most authentic choice of the 2 Mexican restaurants we saw. (The other place had bland salsa and was what we'd call Tex-Mex....a taco tossed on a plate with a pile of cheese next to it...we actually left for Maria's after the salsa was dubbed the worst we'd ever had...yikes.)

We have the best experience every time we come here. Wait staff is always friendly and on top of everything (we've only had one issue but I think the waitress was training) . The food is delicious and that jalapeño guacamole is to die for!

We come to Maria every Tuesday for taco tuesday and Mary is always phenomenal. The service is great, the margaritas are even better. She always makes sure we are well taken care of and have a great experience!

Montana was a great server! She made our night, even having a full house our food was good and our Margaritas were even better! 10/10 would recommend!

Just visited and had the most amazing server (Jae), but an astounding busser. I don’t know what his name was, but he did a phenomenal job. Chips? Always full. Glass? Half full. I would choose him as The Godfather for all of my children. As the crisp sunshine is to a chill morning sunrise, so too was his excellent service to our parched lips. 10/10
Update: Mary is the best. She is so sweet and amazing at her job. Maria continues to be my home

My son took me out for dinner tonight to his favorite Mexican restaurant. It was my first time here. Excellent service, exceptional food. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely go again. Large menu and drink selection too.

Had great service, i went for a late lunch and they were not busy so easily seated. I asked if i could just get a bean and rice burrito and the waitress found something on the menu and made the adjustments. The chips were fresh, thicker and salsa was good. Food came quickly and was very good, service was good, would reccomend.

From the moment we stepped in the door until we left, the experiance was wonderful. We were there during a busy weekend for Atchison. All the drive-throughs were packed to over flowing so my sister and I went to Maria's. Right away it was like being transported to a vacation in Mexico. The decorations nice, the music was quiet enough that people were not yelling to hear over it. The waitress got us seated with drinks right away, and the food was amazing!! I also got a Bloody Marie and it was the best I have ever had! We didn't feel rushed and we had a great time!
