Tulipani Pasta

This is the first place I eat and the last place I eat when traveling to Albuquerque. The Green Chile Chicken Cream Pasta always hits the spot. Fun atmosphere too, especially if there's live music going on.

I think Tulipani is top 3 in sawmill. Their servings are big and the pasta is done quickly. It seems like it's less popular because there's rarely a line, but actually they just move people through really quickly.

I also really enjoy the pasta you can make at home. The squid ink pairs really well with seafood and the lemon is great in a cream sauce. My brother in law always gets a few packages and freezes it to fly home with.

I got the pesto, lemon, and pomodoro and all three were incredible. Will definitely be going back!

It was recommnended that we try the Creamy Lemon Pasta and we were not disappointed. We also tried Truffle and Mushrooms, and Pomodoro. Wonderful, unique flavors and a hearty delicious pasta!

Just came back from a two-week trip in Italy and not once did I find a pasta place in the land of PASTA that compares to Tulipani pasta. Tulipani pasta is beyond words amazing. Great portion sizes, great taste, 1000 stars/10!

The creamy lemon pasta is one of my favorite meals! My daughter loves it, too. Perfect amount of cream, capers, chicken and cheese! We come to sawmill sometimes just to pick one up. It is right in the middle of Sawmill and there is plenty of seating right nearby. I want to try their other pastas but this one wins out every time.

Already put a dent in it but undoubtedly the best pasta I’ve ever had 🥰 straight comfort food if your looking to spend a little extra for the best pasta you’ve ever had 🥂 10/10 for the chefs and customer service

Tulipani is consistently high-quality. The lemon chicken pasta is insanely good and perfectly balanced. I wish I took a picture but I ate it all before I got a chance to! Lots of great options in sawmill but tulipani is at the top of the list.

Lovely pasta shop in sawmill! Tried the green chile and chicken pasta -- it was super deliciously creamy and had a nice kick from the green chile! They also sell fresh pasta by the pound for a more than reasonable price. Would definitely come back to try the lemon cream pasta. Definitely worth a stop!

The lemon cream chicken pasta is dreamy and creamy with the right amount of lemon tang. The little tulip shaped pasta is the perfect vehicle for pasta sauce and the green chile chicken pasta has the right amount of heat for a New Mexican born and raised. Possibly the best pasta dishes in Albuquerque.

I had the Pomodoro Pistachio. It was totally delicious! Be prepared to pay for it though. It's expensive as hell like everything else in this place.

I don’t normally write reviews but this is the best pasta I’ve had in my life and the people deserve to know.

Every time since they opened I have had a great meal and experience the service is great the pasta comes out fresh and the price to the value of what you get is on point. Definitely give this place a try more than once so you can taste the whole menu.

I just made their first pasta 'kit'...Manchego Calabacitas Pasta. OMG...it was delicious. The ingredients were top notch and the instructions were easy to follow. It does take a bit of time, there is chopping and dicing involved but the final product is terrific! Looking forward to the next kit!!

We've bought their frozen homemade pasta many times and it is to die for...especially the lemon pappardelle and lemon bucatini!

Well, we made the second kit for week 2 of the June Pasta kit series. It was just as delicious...Italian Sausage and Greens. It was gigli pasta, the cutest ruffled spiral pasta (made with spinach so it was green) along with Italian sausage, broccolini and chives and romano cheese. There was also lemon juice, garlic and red pepper. It is nice that you can adjust the ingredients to your taste and Alana provides guidelines for how to do that along with preparation tips! We shared the meal with friends and they were thrilled too! We are anxious to see what is on the menu for next week. Unfortunately we won't be able to do the following weeks...hoping this is a recurring project!!

11/13/21 Since Google won't let me add a second review I'll just add to my original. Tonight we had the Week 2 November Pasta Club kit: Nduja, Tomato, Tuscan Kale and 3 greens rigati . Another hit! Everything in these kits is top notch quality, not just the pasta! The Tuscan kale was gorgeous! It is so nice to be able to easily try out something new...no hassle...everything is right there. The instructions are excellent and easy to follow. This week's was delicious...we aren't big eaters so 1/2 of the sauce and 1/2 of the pasta was enough for 2 dinners for the 2 of us (add some bead and a salad and viola! The cooking tip from Alana clued us to freeze half the sauce to have with the rest of the pasta another time. We can't wait til next week's kit - hoping for ravioli!!

Really outstanding. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the truffle mushroom sauce we chose was rich and flavorful. Loved it!

Pasta was too al dente for my taste but it was clearly made from scratch and with care. For the price and taste it's fantastic just make sure you enjoy al dente pasta.

Best meal at the Sawmill! I love their small menu and that their excellent quality is consistent as a result. Creamy lemon pasta is my new go-to comfort food after a long night shift.
