Awesome shop with tons of CLEAN, excellent records— run by super nice down to earth folks who want to help!

The shop was absolutely stacked up with rare and interesting records on my most recent visit. They are especially well stocked in JAZZ, ROCK, REGGAE, and popular new artists. Great $5 sections as well…

I’ve been a Brothers customer at all 3 of their locations over the years… this current Shawnee location is the best yet. They also have a vintage toy + collectible store in the same space now.

If I lived in the area I would be a FREQUENT customer!

Visited for the first time today and I’ll definitely be back! Fairly small footprint but they had a ton of cool records to sift through. Prices seemed more reasonable than other stores in town as well.

I love visiting Brothers. Best jazz selection in KC and at the best prices. I've picked up some great titles from this shop. Records are graded well. When they say VG+, it's pretty much near mint. Love this shop!

I recently sold a guitar here and had a fantastic experience. Not only did I end up getting a good price on it - the owner and store employee were both friendly, and responsive.

Very nice place, well organized and a lot of selection for such a small space. Along with guitars and other music gear for sale. Lots of jazz, soul, and rock music. Small country and hip hop selection. This doesn’t bother me as each place has a little different and we all know rock/jazz and vinyl go hand in hand. Along with other formats for sale, and cleaners and accessories as well, a solid all around small record store. Will return. Very friendly staff, this was my first time in and I felt “accepted” and felt like a regular. Loved that!

Small shop with a lot to offer. I only have shopped for vinyl here so that's what I can talk about. Sales staff isn't pushy and are willing to help out with whatever random questions you have. Selection is great for new and used records. Definitely a must visit for anyone getting into vinyl or just looking to expand their collection.

If you are looking for Vinyl records then this is the place. They have a great selection of different musical styles. Everything is well organized and the staff is knowledgeable and willing to try and find something if it’s not in stock. They also sell a variety of instruments and used stereos.

My two experiences at Brothers Music have been great. I am always searching for punk rock, reggae, and country records. With that being said, I have found some real gems at Brothers. One of the fella's I spoke to there is a reggae fan and really knows his stuff. It's nice to see records by such great Dub artists as Scientist in stock. This place is pretty cool.

Brothers Music is a great record store (and more) located in an awesome building (I was new to the area on my first trip, and loved the retro exterior.) I came in to see what records they had, and though I was surprised to see mostly used albums, the selection was still great. One of the brothers, Cole, was behind the counter while I was there, and was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I'll be back for many more trips to build my collection, and maybe even some lessons. Highly recommend stopping in!

I've found several rare gems on vinyl here. It's a great place to browse the music is eclectic and the atmosphere relaxing. It's a great place to treasure hunt vinyl. Love this place.

was my friend and I first visit and dude said hi to us and basically left us alone to peruse the many selections, i loved it. he noticed what i was looking at made one suggestion and that was all. appreciated. so many to see and so little time. you will find something, even if it wasn't your orig want. going back is in my future
