Always happy with my meal from this place. I always use the drive thru and order the general chicken. It has the perfect sweet and spicy mix for my preference.

I've been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years now, the food is always fresh and delicious!! They have the best wontons I've ever had in my life! Highly recommended 😁

The food here is fantastic, the cashew chicken is perfect every time. I recently discovered garlic broccoli and OMG! it’s VERY tasty. I’d like to be able to go in and eat but I’ll settle for the drive thru(quick and friendly).

I felt obligated to leave a good review because frankly, a lot of the bad reviews on here are laughable. We got the cashew chicken lunch special, which comes with chicken, rice, and a wonton (note, a wonton is not crab rangoon.) The wonton was stuffed with well seasoned cabbage; you have to order crab rangoon separately, which we did. The crab rangoon was fried well but was very sweet, so if you don't enjoy a sweeter rangoon I would stick with just the wonton's. The chicken was especially crispy; they definitely use a different batter from a lot of other places, which is really nice. It's hard to keep chicken covered in sauce really crispy, and they managed to do that very well. I guess that's a problem for some people, somehow. Overall, it was very enjoyable and affordable, and they were reasonably quick for how busy they were.

I love this place! I recommend the crab rangoon. You get 6 for like 4 dollars!! They are big, delicate, and stuffed full of filling!! I really enjoy their chicken and the way they fry it before adding the sauce. It stays nice and crispy on the car ride home. I live in springfield and drive up at least once a month for their empress chicken. I am honestly shocked by some of the reviews since I've never been disappointed here.

Cashew Inn is a staple in this community. I was shocked to see low ratings, because this is one of the best restaurants in Nixa. They have been serving amazing dishes since the 90’s! I literally crave the chicken+broccoli sauce & general sauce also. The sauces on their amazing fried chicken is so addicting. Also their cashew chicken is 10/10. I’m not sure if the people writing bad reviews are from this area or understand that this restaurant is a treasure to all that grew up here. The owners are very understanding & will make it how you ask. If you haven’t tried this amazing local soul food, run there & I promise you be full & so so happy you tried it!

A true hidden gem! I live in Springfield but always eat here when I'm around nixa. It's not your typical "Springfield Chinese restaurant" And I mean that in the best way possible. Slightly more authentic and they use more flavoring/different flavors than most places in the area. I don't understand the bad reviews, it's truly a nixa staple. Always very friendly staff and My order is always correct.

I don't normally leave reviews however this is probably the best Springfield style cashew chicken I can ever remember having flavor was good chicken is hot and crispy not soggy and even the chicken itself had good flavor without the sauce.
Wish it had a little more rice included but would come back either way.

My card wasn't working, so I told the owner I would run home to grab my debit card, so please just set my order aside. She told me to take the food home with me and then call her with my card information. It was so kind of her to trust that I would call her. I really appreciated her for doing that and also saving me an extra trip! I have been eating here since I was a kid. It's one of Nixa's best!

I was recommended this place and drove 20-30 minutes to try it... And I was not disappointed. Delicious food and fast service. Their orange chicken is incredible! Highly recommend.

Love the cashew, and garlic chicken! The employees are awesome, but not as awesome as the food! If you’re in the Nixa area and want Chinese, definitely the place to go!

I've been eating here for 29 years and am still of the opinion that they serve the best Cashew Chicken in the area, they were also the first in the area to serve "all white meat" without having to special request it. They have great General Chicken (we like to order it extra spicy), and the Hunan Chicken is one of my favorites. There aren't many restaurants which stand the test of time these days, particularly when it comes to keeping a menu item consistent and tasting the same for three decades (which is a GOOD thing) but they have managed to do so.

My favorite Chinese food in the 417-area! My favorite two dishes are the general chicken and their crab rangoon, but their cashew chicken is great as well. The chicken used seems to be a much higher quality than many other places in town, and their crab rangoon are stuffed with quality ingredients! Highly recommend!!

The food here is delicious! They have some of the best crab Rangoon of any Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at! I always make sure to get an order to take back to work when I come here on lunch. Great food, great prices, friendly staff. A very nice, not over done atmosphere tops it off, and the cool comfortable quiet seating area make this a great place for great quick Chinese food. The only notable downside is the limited seating. So if you're unlucky and everyone else is there, you might have to get yours to go if they've got a few customers there already. But great food, and amazing prices.

I was here right before the start of Chief's Monday night football. I ordered General Chicken and Empress Chicken to share with my son. It was delicious and I give it 5 stars plus. I love this place, and I can count on them like I can count on my Chiefs. Go Chiefs !!!

I have lived in the ozark, nixa, and Springfield area since 1991 and Cashew Inn is still my favorite Chinese food place. There food is always perfect and delicious. They have speedy service. You can order over the phone and pick up your order or they have grub deliveries. And they have a drive thru or you can dine in. I have never had a complaint in all these years eating there. They have a website also. And there food is always fresh made. Matter fact cashew inn was my first job at 16, 15 years ago. My kids love it also.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in nixa. They have a very small dine in so we always go through the drive thru which sometimes takes a while. Food is always good. The only complaint i would have is the rice has been dry lately but hasn't been a problem in the past.

I’ve been going here for a few years and I always get the same thing. General chicken, and I’ve had it from over 100 different places... Cashew Inn hands down has the BEST general chicken from ANYWHERE. I’ll absolutely be back for it again, maybe even tonight!
