Amazing family owned and operated restaurant! The catfish was perfect. We had a friend dinning with a serious food allergy. They were very attentive to her needs. I can not express the welcoming feel, it felt like we were family. We were visiting from out of town or I’d eat here all the time.

Very nice staff, amazing fried mushrooms! Good portion size, drinks are good. Salad is amazing. The fried chicken sandwich just came as whole chicken tenders on plain toasted loaf bread.

Clean bathrooms.

If you are passing through. They have amazing breakfast food at any time.
Pictured is the western omelette but I asked if they could add hash browns to it…

Great, home cooked food in enormous portions. Breakfast was 4 plate sized pancakes and perfectly cooked crispy bacon.

For those complaining about the staff and wait time where have you been. Times are tough and people are working short. don't go out if you want fast try a drive threw. For F sake people are doing the best they can. It was a great experience for us . Food was great and the service was awesome. Thanks for everything. Five all across the board and proud to support the small business.

This place was awesome! I ordered a French dip which was by far the best French dip I've ever eaten and my husband had the catfish plate and it was amazing as well. It came with 3 pieces cooked to his likings and didn't taste like river water, it taste like the stuff you make at home. The staff was wonderful and the owner was polite and showed us around the building and gave us a little history lesson on how it was an old which 2 ladies bought and turned into a steakhouse with some really neat little hidden features. He then bought it and opened it up in Dec 2017. Great little place with delicious food and friendly people.

Thankyou so much for a tasty omelette so big I couldn’t finish it. The kiddos were adorable & so well mannered. Also the Big Springs was all you said it would be & more! What a beautiful area of the country. Hope to travel through again. Tourists from TN.

Great food, great service. Catfish is straight from the river. Wonderful mom and pop restaurant. Owner gave our 6 month old free mashed potatoes, and she loved them. Wonderful family atmosphere.

7/17/21 ... We were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat before we went to see Big Spring. We asked around and were pointed in the direction of Spring House Cafe. We found the atmosphere to be inviting and rustic. The staff was friendly and helpful. And to go along with that, the food was pretty darn good. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

The food was EXCELLENT. The service was EXCELLENT. We descended on them an hour and 20 minutes before close with a party of 12 and they handled us with aplomb. No impatience, asked us several times how we were doing and generally we could not have had a better experience! The best experience my very large family has ever had at a restaurant!

Went for a weekday breakfast with a group. Excellent food and good service. Consider yourself warned: the pancakes are huge. One is enough... A great option for those avoiding fast food.

What a great happen chance find.. want simple, passionate family owned good food.. this is your place. Friends raves about the catfish (not my thing) but enjoyed the tenderloin. Hush puppy’s.. hello goodness. If ever back in the area.. it will be a must stop.

Great place to eat! Always busy which pretty much says it all. Very good home style cooking and family owned. Prices are great and so is the service.

Stopped in for a quick takeout breakfast. 2 bacon and egg on toast and an order of hashbrowns. Took about 15 minutes, so I would suggest calling ahead for takeout. Staff was very friendly and the food was really good.
