The Blue Heron Restaurant at The Landing

Food is absolutely phenomenal.
My fiance got the blu Burger , and I got their chicken with wine sauce and LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!
Fine dining at its best.
The staff is friendly, and have knowledge of their menu items.
The owners/managers are great and attentive. Super friendly and adds a great presence to the atmosphere.
We reserved a big table of almost 20 people and we all got our food ordered, it came out hot , fresh and correct!
And it didn't take a long time for all of our tables to get their food and we were all very satisfied.
I highly HIGHLY recommended this place.
The prices are, very acceptable for the quality of food. It feels like a high end restaurant but without the large bill that comes with them.
We will go here again.
And if you go camping or floating anywhere in Van Buren and are looking for a special night out this should be your go to place!!

Ordered the crab stuffed filet and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. So tender, juicy and flavorful. Sides were all delicious also. Kids had the baby-cini Alfredo. We were all very satisfied. 👌

Beautiful restaurant, I had the Four by four, which is a 4 oz. filet and 4 grilled shrimp. The only thing I can say is the charbroil was a little heavy.

Dinner for two, right on the river. They have a well equipped bar and top notch wait staff. I had the ribeye sandwich with a baked potato for my side…delicious

Absolutely amazing. The catfish I had was top notch. I'll definitely return to sample more but it'll be hard to pass up the catfish. Angela was our waitress and was very pleasant and helpful. Had a great view sitting outside on the patio and even with a larger party, food came quickly and was hot and fresh.

First time visiting and fantastic food and service. Steak was perfectly done. Shrimp scampi was also fantastic. We will definitely be back.

The food is always delicious! The crab stuffed filet is Devine and the shrimp is out of this world!

Service was Excellent, all the staff was pleasant. Had great conversations with them about the area and the restaurant. The food was outstanding, big portions and very quick service. Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends the next time!!!

Very welcoming and cozy environment. The staff we interacted with were pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Our server, Haley, had only been there a couple weeks, but did a great job! I had a couple... let's say, "nuanced" questions about a couple of the dishes, and she got back with the answers quickly.

The food was delicious, and pretty reasonably priced for finer quality food with such pleasant ambiance. The King of the Mountain dessert was good, though I expected better since it was listed as one of the chef's signature dishes. Like I said--it was still good, so I'm not willing to knock a star for that.

All-in-all, a great experience. We don't do date nights as often as we should, and there's a reason the Blue Heron is on our short list!

Food was great. My husband loved the flavor of the burger and ate every bite. My chicken Caesar salad had WAY too much dressing to the point where I just ate the chicken but my other sides were phenomenal so I wasn't worried about it! Yes it gets loud, it's a small populated area and not everybody wants to eat in the sun after being in it all day. We actually witnessed a verbal altercation where one man yelled at another because his toddlers were "too loud". If you can't handle the side effects of being in public don't go to public places 😁 the atmosphere was great and service as well.

Very clean, cozy restaurant on the banks of the beautiful Current River. I rarely order steak since it's generally a roll of the dice if you will be happy or disappointed in terms of portion, tenderness and preparation. I gambled by ordering with the 12oz ribeye and was amazed at how well everything turned out.
They were very busy at 7:30 on a Saturday evening, but we were seated quickly. Friendly wait staff, well stocked bar, inside and outside seating all come together to make this restaurant a place that I will definitely visit again and again.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal on the deck outside recently. My chicken was nice and juicy and his steak was just right. And we don't normally eat steak when we are out. I loved being able to sit outside and watch the river. I would highly recommend eating here.

Place is amazing! I love the Food always consistent with a great atmosphere. I grew up at lake of the Ozarks and ate many times at the original Blue heron (one of my favorite places there) but the landing as a whole is quite a nice place and great location on the river .

The food was great but a little high priced I recommend bring your own food.

We stayed a couple nights last week at the landings and ate both nights at the blue heron. I was blown away by how awesome the food was, we floated both days and then to have such a good meal was everything we needed. If you stay at the landings do not go anywhere else to eat

Really nice restaurant overlooking the Current River. Large selection of foods. Full bar.

Some of the best meals I've enjoyed were in the Blue Heron Restaurant, especially steak, catfish, and frog legs!!! It has spectacular views and décor and wonderful local staff...check the venue for free music on the deck.
