Excellent Extensive Roof Repair- Wertz and Co. did an outstanding job in repairing my composite shingle roof and replacing my leaking rubber membrane roof over my enclosed loggia. This was not an easy job by any measure, but their caring and quality shined through. I even got a visit from the owner himself to check the job to ensure my 100% satisfaction! I will definitely choose Wertz again and again for any work on my home. They’re we’re honest and priced very reasonably! Great job Wertz and Co! Update-8/1/19- just further proof why you should select Wertz & Co. for your next project. Had a minor Warranty issue well over 1.5 years ago and they jumped at the opportunity to fix it at no charge!! My roof and chimney were repaired quickly and with quality workmanship. They cleaned everything afterwards and everyone was extremely friendly. They took great care of my property. Will definitely use them again.

Wertz does absolutely beautiful work..We had a fireplace and custom bookcases done in our living room and the attention to detail and quality are a 5 star all day..Highly Recommend!

Was very disappointed since they came highly recommended. Paid in full but still waiting for job to be finished after 5 weeks and 4 phone calls later to come back and fix a drip edge. Update - the company listens to their customers and contacted me about my concerns! Thank you!

It seems this business has a few professional quality roofers and many trainees. The guy that gave me the estimate seemed very knowledgeable. It was a small job so they sent over a group of an experienced guys. I was amazed to see five guys on my roof for such a small job.
In the end, they made things right.

I then used Brooks Brothers Rehoboth Roofing on another property for a complete re-roof. Brooks did a great job.

We got taken. Should have tried for a couple estimates, but we wanted our gas fireplace to burn brighter, higher, & better. Asked for a tune up. Was told the glass seal was busted, needed new glass, & before we knew it we're waiting for 4 weeks and paying $800 dollars and still not so great fire.

Wertz said the fireplace was a cheap builder grade and if we wanted better we'd have to spend $5K for a new fireplace.

I was like no thank you and I adjusted my expectations - maybe the fire wasn't that bad after all. It's OK, the fire comes on with the flick of a switch and after about 45min it does look a little better. At least we have new glass.

But Dad said never settle.

Trust Dad. Also, trust Mike of CCI Fireplace LTD and don't call WERTZ & Co. Because though we got new glass I think we got taken for an expensive ride by the Wertz guys. Womp womp.

The picture is what it looked like after the new glass and not much fire -- the AFTER was after spending only $165 more with CCI Fireplace LTD. He said it was all messed up. That it was an easy fix and the gas logs were covering up important gas vents & holes and it was messy inside. I'm guessing this is something Wertz (or anyone experienced) should have seen right away. More about that on his review!

TLDR: Wertz isn't the worst but they're certainly not the best. And they're expensive and I think a little incompetent. Get estimates & call Mike at CCI.

***UPDATE*** Mr. Bob Becker who left such a passionate & earnest reply to my review DID NOT contact me or get in touch with me the next day or the next week. I have an easily discoverable email address from my blog and I'm pretty visible on Social Media. @GwynethJones on Twitter and @TheDaringLibrarian on Instagram. Again, Wertz -- sounds good at first then is kind of a let down. Womp womp.

DON'T HIRE you will be sorry!!!! I have been a home owner for 27 years and have NEVER dealt with a company with ZERO costumer service. Hired and put half $ down in OCT. they finally showed up end of February to do the work. They NEVER contacted me from Oct. to Feb. NEVER ONCE. (said they would call back when i called them...nope)) I had to make EVERY call to find out that they had a problem with the company they order from AND then had an employee in a auto accident. (which delayed my work ) which would have been fine. BUT JUST TELL ME!!!!!! The best part is..... since Feb 18th (work finally completed, MAYBE). NOW only 13 day since complete, we have received 4 INVOICES, and been called AT WORK 5 times. FUNNY, ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION, then literally harassed for 13 days. Side note. They had to come back out the week after the repair because it was LEAKING worse then before they fixed it. Not sure if repair is fixed because we have not had enough rain to check for leaks AGAIN! Afraid to pay the balance until I know its fixed because we will probably never see them again.

Not sure what's going on with this company. I visited their store back in July '20 to purchase/install a gas fireplace. I had one of their reps visit my house in Aug to give me a quote for the job. I have not heard back from them since. Pretty weird as I was ready to spend money for a gas fireplace. I stopped by their store in late Aug to check on my quote and was told by their sales admin (I think it was Wendy) that they were behind in their quotes. I sent an email in early Sept inquiring when I would hear back from them. No reply. I'll be visiting other fireplace stores this weekend.

We are totally disgusted and will most likely be taking legal action. We signed agreements and gave 50% deposit in early November. . Since then NO COMMUNICATION. We have made numerous phone calls ( each time being told we would receive a call back - none received). We went to them on Friday to no avail. We stated we wanted our money back. Once again. n told we would receive a call. Today is Tuesday no response. They will be hearing from our lawyer.

Hold them about a replacement fire brick for my pellet stove after 3 days of going back and forth they finally told me they were unable to help me not very knowledgeable
