Nice little area not too far from Mount Holly, JBMDL, and numerous other small cities/towns. Shelter's are nice and rustic. No electricity (shelters). Bathroom/Showers are clean and maintained well. Huge amount of trails in the area.

Chose a tent site next to bathroom and water. Bathroom has two showers and plenty of toilets. Huge tent site with fire pit. Be on lookout for potholes so suv, truck definitely better than car. Lots of trails ranging from third mile to 10 miles long. Driving scenic tour. Wawa with no gas and restaurants near by. Reasonable priced for mid week camping.

Large campsites, clean bathroom, many trails for hiking and biking, in a pond for kayaking.

Really great park in precious Pine Barrens habitat. I particularly appreciated the network of small roads, especially the paved ones. These roads give a disabled guy a way to explore the special habitat in depth and away from the crowds. Saw a Grey Fox and several species of amphibians, and even heard the splendid call of a Whippoorwill!

Pulled in late. No one at the office so we picked a sight and set up undisturbed. Patrol came thru and very kindly told us we were welcome and can pay in the morning. We will be back

Nice park close by. Trails are well maintained. The main trails are compacted so pretty easily travelled with virtually any vehicle. There is a beautiful lake and some smaller ponds. The nature center offers some guided programs as well. Did not camp there as I only live about 30 minutes away, but visited a few times during the day and twilight hours.

Brendon Byrne state park is a great park for camping, hiking, bike riding, off road exploring. There are a few trails throughout the park including the northern end of the Batona trail. Camping facilities have fire ring, picnic table, flushable toilets, showers and access to drinking water for filling up. The campground was not very busy for a wknd in summer. The trails were well marked and maintained. There is a picnic area at the pond. There is also a nature center and playground near the entrance to the campground.

Campground is quiet. I was hiking on Batona Trail from The Ranger Station. Had a great time.

Lots of nice and diverse ticks. Collected a few of them on myself and my dog. Can’t wait to go back and get more.
