I shipped out my receiver to American Bluing & Guns. Greg is excellent when it comes to communication and service. My receiver was parkerized and it looked beautiful. Fast turnaround time. I will definitely use American Bluing & Guns for all future projects and I definitely would recommend them.

Great job. Had a single action six with some rust in places that took away the beauty of that revolver. I took it apart and sent the damaged pieces to Greg for bluing (frame with barrel, cylinder, and trigger-guard/front strap). I spoke to someone in this company, i didn’t catch the name but he was highly knowledgeable and gave me a bunch of tips as to how to restore an antique meat chopper I have, even tho I wasn’t spending money with him he took the time to have a conversation and trade ideas back and forth! I am more than pleased with the quality of service and craftsmanship I got from Greg. I sent the bull barrel/receiver from my Ruger MkII not sure if bluing one half of it only would be a good idea, worried it would not match. When I put it together I was amazed at how it looked, you can't tell it's not original factory finish. Thank you and be sure my next project will be coming your way.

Greg is extremely thorough with his work. I had him matte blue some scope rings for me to match my wife's rifle and they were impeccable quality. Every component right down to the screws were flawlessly finished in a perfect matte blue. He was timely getting them back to me and his rates are for the working man even though you get a high end product which says a lot about people nowadays. My hat is off to Greg. I am a machinist and I am very particular when it comes to quality. Greg exceeded my expectations easily. Best of all, we all know that a happy wife makes for a happy life!

I sent in an old Iver Johnson revolver that was missing over 70% of the nickel plating. Greg's $100 matte bluing service was the perfect price point for a project like this on a gun that isn't exactly valuable. In the end he did an excellet job and I couldn't be happier.

Extremely satisfied customer. Greg restored and reblued a pair of nearly century-old shotguns that were family heirlooms, an Ithaca and L.C. Smith, at very reasonable prices. The work took a bit longer than planned - understandable in present circumstances. Both guns now look great and I'm sure will shoot well. Greg is a true craftsman and extremely knowledgeable about shotguns. Time spent picking his brain while picking up the guns was time well spent.

Greg does great work. I sent him a shotgun that had been sitting in the corner of my room for several years (and that, unbeknownst to me, my dog had been hiking his leg on the whole time) and he put it back to like new condition in a reasonable period of time, and at a very reasonable price. I'll definately use him again if the need arises.

I've had 4 -1911 frames and slides with components blued by Greg and have been satisfied in all aspects,from his knowledge of the processes to packaging to just being a downhome friedly guy. I highly recommend if you need anytype of firearm work done call Greg first.
