Sussex Family YMCA

My two kids attended swim camp at the Sussex YMCA last week and they had an amazing time. The camp was very well-run and the staff was friendly and professional. In addition, both of my children attended basketball classes here in the Spring and the instructors were great. We have been very happy with the programs offered to our children.

We were in town for vacation and our boys who swim competitively needed to get in some pool time. We checked the times for lap swim and went to the facility.

The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. My boys felt right at home. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The Sussex Family YMCA Gymnastic camps are a highlight of my daughter's summer. She looks forward to the gymnastic camps weeks every summer (second summer attending). The camp provides before/aftercare if needed for parents who need extra time and the kids also have pool time which is always fun in the summer. She cannot wait until next year!

During COVID-19, I appreciated Shannon keeping everyone in the loop on the status of camps and procedures. It cannot be easy to keep track of the changing regulations and things that need to happen. Her staff always greeted me with a smile.

Our Rehoboth Beach Y has a great summer camp. My 5 year comes home happy and tired. Plus they have once a week field days, beach days, arts, theme days. Pool every day. The only con is that they don’t teach kids to swim.

Great pool, big, safe, clean, separate lap swim from family fun sections. Awesome. Locker/shower rooms clean and spaceous. There is nice looking gym and yoga/dance studio which looks great too but haven't tried those (yet).

I was treated like a celebrity and enjoyed the atmosphere. The facilities were clean and well kept. My daughter enjoyed the kids zone and wanted to stay longer. The staff was overly accommodating; they must have a good training program .

I look forward to my next visit !

Always helpful staff and the place is thoroughly enjoyable...at least, the free weights room, pool, & locker room. But the staff here makes one feel at home—clean and interactive!

Awesome staff, Katie and Janice take care of you. I visit regularly every year when we vacation and they went out of the way to make sure I could use the facility with my current YMCA membership.

Great great gym for those on a budget along with a killer indoor pool that never seems to be too crowded. It's a huge spot so if you're looking for cardio, yoga, or other classes, chances are they'll have them.

A great facility. Excellent staff, welcoming atmosphere, great instructors. It’s great to share with so many different and diverse community members!

Stopped by on the way to Fenwick. Ladies in the kids drop off room were warm and engaged with my kids. Small cardio area but did the trick.

Family friendly. Great indoor pool. Lots of classes for every fitness level. Great summer camp.

We love our local Y! All the staff is super nice, and it's very clean. It's one of our most favorite places to be.

Preschool age swim class was great! Instructors were fun and engaged every child!
