The Mile-Around Woods

This place is amazing! Horses living in the pastures, beautiful scenery, an easy walk, large well kept overflowing gardens. A new favorite.

Wonderfully scenic hiking trail. Wish we had planned more time as there were other trails right nearby. Easy hike for anyone whether they are in shape or not. ♥

The Mile-Round Woods is a beautiful park that I had the pleasure of doing an engagement session at. We were lucky enough to have fresh snow falling and the paths well groomed. I can't wait to see what it looks like in other seasons. - Bridget, ower of B. Photogenic Photography

Wonderful place to take in the VT countryside. Views to the Monument and surrounding area.

What a very beautiful and peaceful place to be. Weekends a bit less peaceful, like anywhere else it's definitely busier on the weekends and quieter during the week. A great place to go to walk off some stress. The trail is pretty easy going I believe the trails are maintained enough you could probably push a stroller through. I haven't done this so don't quote me. If you are looking for a casual walk to enjoy the outdoors I definitely recommend this place.

Great place to walk, very beautiful trails. I walk my dog there and so do alot of other people do. My dog is super friendly and loves meeting new dogs to play with

In the area for a week vacation with our dogs and found the mile around after a quick search for walks in the area that were dog friendly. I would definitely recommend it for anyone wether it be walkers, dog walkers or runners. It's beautifully surrounded and has several different trails. You could take a short 40 minute walk depending on your pace through the more scenic route or head through the trees to get out of the sun. Would definitely take the time to pay it a visit.

I got married here nearly 10 years ago, right on the trail entrance. It’s still one of my favorite spots. Not a hiking trail but great to share a walk with our kids. Not too long, easy, and peaceful.

A beautiful place to enjoy a relaxed walk in the countryside and through the woods, too, if you like, alone, with friends and/or four legged companions!

Amazing trail!!! So many options to take. Shaded, perfect for a hotter day.

The paths are really wide and clean. The walking paths through the fields are also kept very trimmed. Excellent for bringing your dogs.

We spent the week here in Bennington with a two year old huskie. Needless to say he needs to run and romp.
The Mile-Around Woods is perfect, though some small dog owners take a risk by letting their dogs run right up to a large dog. Mine was on leash, but is small dog unfriendly, due to a three bull dog attack last year.(they attacked him) Just saying. My dog is friendly, but no one should be that careless. All in all a great experience, and most dog owners were very respectful.

So close to nature. You'll want to be lost into them to find yourself while at it.

Great place to hike. We stayed mainly in the feilds. Easy meandering walk. Views are spectacular. Did 2.65 miles

Beautiful place to take a quiet walk. Very attractive huge horses hanging around too.

My favorite place for a nature walk 🚶‍♂❤. Good for running too 🏃‍♀🏃‍♂. I also heard you can snowshoe here!
