Was in town for an event and was recommended this family restaurant. Very glade we ate there. Owners were attentive and friendly. Service was quick. Food flavor and presentation is on point. Will return.

1st time dining in and it was amazing. The service was fantastic. Nick C was friendly, attentive and had fast service. My husband says he is the definition of perfection. The food was great. All 5 meals were a perfect portion and was delicious. Thank you for a great 1st experience.

This is a great place to eat, and gather with friends! Immaculately clean, always. The place is just beautiful. And the care put into decorating for different seasons, and holidays, is second to none. The food is great, and with good sized portions. The owners are great people, and are in the resaurant, not sitting at home having someone else manage the business. If you have a large party, or need to be there at a specific time, they take reservations. That is something that you rarely find anymore. Like everywhere else, they have trouble getting enough help. So have a little patience, the food will be good.

Amazing food and service. This is for sure 5/5. They have pretty good specials throughout the week and also have some limited outside seating. The steak is some of the best I've had! The wait time is a little higher but it's understandable as it's one of the only nice sit down places to eat in Connersville.

We came in from Alabama to visit my family for Thanksgiving. I didn’t want my mom to work hard while we were here. I was shocked by the low prices. The food, service and atmosphere was top notch.

Nicely restored restaurant. This is at least the 5th place in this old Bob Evans. The country decor is clean and uncluttered in a less is more fashion.
Quickly seated & drink order taken while with a large group at lunchtime. Lunch menu had many choices. They had an unlimited soup and salad special. Their salads are large and are filled with mixed greens tomatoes, onions, croutons, cheese if you want it.. more than just iceburg lettuce and one slice of cucumber like some places serve. They have good balsamic dressing
The chicken salad is full of grapes and pecans, really good. Chicken tenders are above par and they have really good honey mustard. Tater tots are better than the fries. The burgers are good but slightly under seasoned.
Food wait was minimal and service was consistent and experienced.

Great restaurant, excellent quality food and plating and a nice dining room, especially considering the relatively low price points. I got the broccoli cheddar soup and a sirloin steak and both were really excellent. I would go back without thinking twice.

My husband and I were there last night for Valentines dinner. The food was delicious as Always great food and the service is always very helpful.

Staff and food are amazing! The Ole Rooste is immaculate. I highly recommend dining here. They are closed Sunday and Monday. The lasagna special on Tuesday is the best I have had!

Lived in town for a year before coming here and boy do I regret waiting. Staff was super friendly. Not just polite, but friendly. The menu is relatively small, but everything we tried was really tasty and prepared well. Decided to come back with a big group for their Saturday brunch and wasn't disappointed. They deliver a plate of house made "doughnuts" to each table (complimentary) and they're delicious! Our group had young kids, teenagers, twenty somethings and thirty somethings, picky and easygoing and EVERYONE left happy. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Um...I'm from Cville & moved away 25 years ago. A place like this could make me come back more frequently! This restaurant is EXCEPTIONAL!! We arrived 15 minutes before closing time, but they let us in...welcomed us in with a genuine smile! We were a party of five & did not feel rushed! Ambiance is off the hook...food is well prepared. You just feel at ease here! If only more places like this were in town...😁

I stopped here on the way through, while traveling home from Ohio…. The atmosphere is very warming & inviting. Very nice Farmhouse feel. The workers were AMAZING. They were nice, they were VERY accommodating with my Gluten Free request. I have Celiacs Disease and issues with cross contamination issues. I was skeptical at first, but the waitress assured me they were familiar with it. My food was perfect. Fresh, hot and made to order, as I ordered it. They have the BEST, southern style sweet tea that I’ve ever tasted!!! I hope to be back in the near future! When you are done, mosey on over to their market. They have some neat things there!
