This is one great dive!.. from the outside you think 🤔 I dunno... lol But the food and service, speaks for itself at Tomo..
Japanese Steakhouse classics in a diner atmosphere without the tableside hibachi. But there is no lack of quality or taste to this little treasure. The family running it, is the prime example of putting your heart into your craft. Great food, great service, just a little left to achieve on the atmosphere and curb appeal... but this place is fantastic. 5 stars from this Hibachi fanatic.

Phenomenal food. Great place to get an incredible meal for a very reasonable price. It's a no frills restaurant, but don't be fooled the food is excellent and the staff are fantastic

Food is great and made to order! We got the hibachi dinner, crab Rangoon, and spicy girl roll. Seriously best Rangoon I've ever had! Everything was spectacular and staff was so friendly!

I have been coming to Tomo for years and they never disappoint! The food is always great and the employees are always helpful and happy to help. I always suggest Tomo when someone ask where to get the best food. My only complaint is that I wish they would bring back their old Pork Gyoza's as they were amazing and the new one's just don't compare however they are still very tasty and the Gyoza sauce is amazing as ever!

I will start off quick. The food here is AMAZING! If you have ever been to Kabutos, just think of this small, family owned restaurant as the same exact thing! They hold so many options for dinner and lunch, and the price is just right that you don't feel suffocated by financial restrictions. The service is amazing as well! I definitely recommend this place for a date for 2 or even a double date. Oh and one last great reason to go: Sushi out fo the wazoo and only for 4 dollars. I recommend any of the shrimp ones. Utterly amazed by how well this restaurant is, so be careful not to get cravings for their food like I do!

The Caterpillar Roll was excellent! Service is always prompt, and they are quick to clear trash & clean plates from the table, which I appreciate.

Small and unassuming, but love their made to order hibachi meals! Includes your choice of meat, mixed vegetables, rice, yum-yum sauce, ginger sauce and either soup or salad with house dressing. Very reasonable prices too!

We tend to order almost every two weeks! The food is always spot on and fresh, and the service is always so welcoming to where we want to come back! If you’re picky about sushi definitely try the chicken tempura roll, it’s so good!!

I really love the show The Office. When I came here it didn't fit that style of legitimate comedy I enjoy. However the Sushi is fantastic. For a town like Franklin you can't beat this little tucked away place. The owners are amazing and very human. Come and eat here. They deserve all of the praise a place like this can get.

My family and I always order carry out. The only complaint is that the steak was a bit overdone. All in all the food is always good and look forward to always eating here!

I was surprised and delighted to find a Japanese restaurant in Franklin. The food and service were both excellent. It had some typical items on the menu, but also some with a new twist. The veggie “burrito” was great. It is mostly take out, but it was comfortable eating there.

By far the best sushi place in the state of Indiana. Also has the best staff. Great people who know what I want when they see my car pull up. So friendly and will never eat at any other sushi place ever again. Its Tomo or nothing at all for me.
