The Willard

The Willard is a joint I haven’t focused on much but recently, my family was invited to try it out to we made a visit on Friday (2/10/23)

We had a reservation so we were seated immediately. The menu has quite the selection! Especially a large amount of apps. Everything looked really good but I settled for trying the Pretzel Breadsticks. Overall, they were hot, salted well, and had great taste! The nacho cheese on the side was great too.

As my entree, I got the Tenderloin. And let me tell you, unlike a ton of other places where they give you a super thin pork patty, the Willard doesn’t mess around! They serve you a thick and juicy Tenderloin that all around was fantastic. The fries were great too!

Overall, this was a great experience. If I come back to Franklin, I’ll definitely come back to the Willard!

The Ranch pizza is delicious! The Buffalo dip appetizer is a must and the house salad is good too. Great portion sizes! I recommend going for lunch and NOT dinner. There is no hostess or process for waiting on a table. It’s basically a “walk around the dining area until a table opens up” establishment. A little annoying for those waiting to eat and I’d imagine very annoying for those already mid-meal. Highly recommend for the food though!

A long-awaited visit here...and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had to try the breaded pork tenderloin (mmmmm) and onion rings. SO. GOOD. My daughter had a burger with avocado and spicy mayo....also delicious!!! We WILL return!!!....there are other temptations to try.

A nice historic building with a nice atmosphere and a good selection of drinks and food. Their thin crust pizza is a very solid option. Overall, this is a good place for food and drinks in the heart of Franklin.

1 st time there. Great dining experience. Waitress was fun with our group and we had a very enjoyable evening.

Great Place. Staff can be overworked and frustrated but they are truly beautiful inside and out. If you see a movie next door at The Artcraft it's the PERFECT Dinner and a movie place.

Had a very good family dinner !! We ordered and waited the amount of time they said until it would be ready. When I arrived I was told they were running a little behind I did have to wait an additional 30 minutes. That said the food was delicious 😋 and the service was friendly 😊 !!!!

We love the Willard! Fiance and I ate there when we lived in Franklin and it's our go-to now if we are visiting. I'd pass on the pizza and wings (pizza is OK, wings are dry)--but there's plenty of other, good options! Personally I enjoyed the fish and my fiance, he likes the reuben. Awesome onion rings. Love the interior, we always sit by the bar.

My wife was doing a little shopping trip in Franklin and we decided to try The Willard for a late lunch. It was not crowded so we didn't have the issue that some people have had with seating and service. I consider myself a bit of a tenderloin connoisseur so that's what I ordered. You can see from the picture that it is not a huge tenderloin like you get at some restaurants but size is not what makes a tenderloin great and this was a great tenderloin! This may be the best restaurant tenderloin I have ever had. It reminded me of the kind my mom made when I was a kid. My wife had the Bangin'Bleu Cheese pizza and really liked it too. Our server was friendly and attentive. I wish I lived closer so I could try their Beef Manhattan Wednesday lunch special! Definitely a place I will go to again when I'm in the area.

Ordered 2 pizzas and I can they once again they were the best tasting pizzas ever! I would like to give the staff KUDOS for an excellent job and the best service I have seen!!!

My steak wrap was outstanding. Cooked to order, medium rare, with excellent seasoning. Great service.

Excellent service, Excellent food!! Love reading the history about this place on there menu. If you like garlic bread sticks, they have the best around with brick oven pizza

This place is a little hidden gem in Franklin Indiana. The food at least what we have had so far which is the pizza was phenomenal. It's inside of an old hotel building and the ambiance is circa 1940 or so.
There is lots of chatter but it's not annoying. The outside seating helps because they keep it busy and sometimes you got to take what comes up.
I can't recall our servers name but he was very thoughtful and on top of the situation and kept us informed of the process of the order.
The pretzel bread sticks were very tasty but the pizza was delicious and filling. They also had boneless wings which we got the buffalo style and they rocked the world. If you out this way I suggest a visit here because you won't be disappointed at all. Prices are more than fair

Great spot for a bit to eat. The tenderloin we split was so huge and delicious, definitely lives up to being one of the best tenderloins in Indiana.

Our server Dana was great...brought us a beer sample...yummy! Love the Quaff-On beer. Should get the Hard Truth cinnamon cream vodka!

Delicious. Abbie provided excellent service. Lots of beers on tap. Great turkey club.

Family went to the Artcraft to watch "Its a Wonderful Life", then to the Willard for drinks and appetizers. Great evening. The staff is so good there.

Bartenders & servers always friendly & positive. Always feel welcome. Food is great!
