Bar Bosco

Wonderful! We made reservations for a belated Valentine's dinner, and everything was fantastic. Building is very cool. Drinks were great. Service was attentive. Food was so delicious. We had the salame appetizer. I got the bolonese for dinner, and the cannoli for dessert. The cannoli was deconstructed which I wasn't expecting, but so tasty and flavorful! The Rosemary Gimlet is also fantastic cocktail. Highly recommend this place!

Hands down the most authentic Italian restaurant in our area. Perfect for a date night or celebrations. Love to take our time, enjoy the drinks and splurge on dessert.

First off if you’re going here I highly recommend a reservation. It’s easier to be seated. The bar selection is top shelf. I can’t think of anything you can’t order. Drinks are made quickly and taste great!
The bread is house made. Fresh and delicious. The meatballs are tender and flavorful. The pasta is unlike anything else in this town. It’s so fresh and flavorful. This is real Italian food. On the lasagna be prepared. It’s served warm not not. They don’t mention this when you order it. I didn’t care for warm lasagna.

Kathy was our guide this evening and the food was excellent.
We enjoyed cocktails, antipasta, entrées and desserts.
I would drive to Bar Bosco just to get the dessert! Wow! we found a world class restaurant in the Midwest with quality service and wonderful atmosphere.

We were referred by a co-worker that is a foodie. We had their housemade lasagna and polenta. Great choices. We also had a smoked old fashion, bellini, house Manhattan and limoncello. The tiramisu was the perfect finish to a perfect meal.
We had another fantastic time at Bar Bosco. Our favorite bartender, Devin, was there suggesting the perfect wine pairings for our meal. We love the extensive bar selection. Everything is always on point. The desserts were amazing.

Food and staff are amazing! Went there for dinner the other night and had a blast. Besides the food and drinks being really good the waitress we had was very friendly including giving us suggestions on the menu. Will be back for sure!

The rich sauce and slightly sweet and fresh filling of the pear ravioli is fabulous. Loved the lasagna and orange blossom almond tart as well! The menu is pricey, but the dishes are clearly high quality. If you're on a budget, save this for a special occasion, but it'll be worth the wait. Great service and very cool aesthetic. I haven't been anywhere else in town that's like it!

Came in for a drink, left with a 3-course meal. Typical us. Big fan of this new upscale bar & Italian restaurant in Terre Haute. Food and drinks are AMAZING. Owners are super friendly and talked to us about their story. Only the bar side is open right now (the restaurant side should be done in March) with an area to watch chefs make the pasta. There's still about 15 tables open on the bar side but reservations are a must on weekends. Open bar seating for walk-ins with full menu.

Always great service and outstanding beverages. Great to see the Old Simrell's Tavern being revived with an establishment the community has come to embrace. Tried the Amatriciana for the first time. Great flavor with a slight spicy kick to it, that I enjoyed.

Went there for the first time for a birthday. Great experience! The staff was attentive, friendly and prompt. Food was absolutely delicious, the drinks outstanding. Can’t wait to go back already, my new go to place in town for delicious Italian food and drinks.

The food was excellent. The Farroe Salmon had the crispiest tasty skin I’ve ever had. But the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was absolutely Devine. Glad we found this spot on our visit.

We went on a Wednesday evening with no reservation and were seated immediately.
The wine list is comprehensive and the dinner menu caters to all needs and preferences.
The bathrooms are trendy and very clean too.
Super friendly and helpful staff.

My friend and I ate here three days ago and I have been wanting to leave a review because it was THAT good. You feel like you’re walking into Italy, it was some of the best Italian food and cocktails I’ve had, and our waitress, Kelly, was a top notch server. One of their systems went down- which I’m sure was stressful- but she still spent way more time than she needed to answering our questions and recommending her favorites. I was blown away by her attention to us with such a hectic night. Can’t wait to go here again next time is in IN!! And we’ll be asking for Kelly!! The bread and cheese appetizer (see below) was amazing!

Bar Bosco...if you want an amazing experience, elegant and romantic atmosphere with superb italian food and an impeccable cocktail list with unique appetizers that will tickle parts of your flavor palette that you never thought existed, this is the place for you. I would go back to Bar Bosco in a heartbeat without question. You should too if you haven't already.

It is a bit pricey, but it is well worth it. The service was fantastic. Kirsten was an amazing server and took care of our group. I ordered the Agnolotti, and I was not disappointed. I had ordered a country boy beer and I would say it accompanied it quite well. I also had the house meatball as an appetizer, it was also superb. I would highly recommend this place if you want an upscale experience and excellent food. Top notch!!

Best Bar and Italian restaurant in Terre Haute! Food, drinks, service, atmosphere… everything is perfect!

My fiance and I love this place. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is some where you need to experience. It is 21 and older which makes it nice to have an evening without the kids. Recommend!
