I have never had a bad time here. The atmosphere here is always chill throughout the week and def gets lively over the weekend.

I def recommend try to come out whenever Ally or Monty are workin they both have a few tricks up there sleeves and have never given me a bad drink.

Nice little bar downtown Terre Haute.
Start slow but get really busy around 11pm.
You should definitely order as many drinks as you possibly can: they’re so good !

Good bar, busy enough to talk to people through the week. The live bands on Friday are good, Thursdays and Saturdays get a little packed though. Drink prices could be cheaper, like most other local bars are, but a good spot to visit. Three pool tables, quality drinks, good company.

The Verve has an excellent and vast cocktail selection, with an amazing staff! I'm a big fan of Monday night jazz. Their back room has been elevated with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Connie is a huge supporter of Downtown Terre Haute. Big fan!

Great place, considering I was from out of town on a business trip. Drinks are much cheaper than I'm used to, security is great, and the place is really clean.. with a super friendly staff! I will be back! 👌

Saturdays are good days for college students. I go to ISU and I've learned that Saturdays are really the best days to go bc u meet other students. I went there and played pool (it costs a dollar and u have to exchange like dollars for quarters to ur left when u enter the pool room). I pregamed before and bought a few drinks there. I was approached by other college aged dudes and got some of their numbers and hooked up that night lol. So yeah, if you wanting to get laid, are more outgoing or whatever, Saturdays are when u wanna go. The place either has a band, dj, or just play some music. The restrooms don't have doors, it's just a curtain so beware of that lol. It's a great bar in all.

This place is great, it really should have a better rating. The staff was super cool, the pizza next door is excellent, and they have a great stage with good sound and lights. Thanks for hosting the show!

My wife and I spent about 6 hours there for our anniversary this last Friday..it was an awesome experience. We actually came in early, with the misconception the band started at 8pm..but didnt actually start till 1030pm. However, the bartender was absolutely awesome and made our time there great! Very personable and polite and wonderful service. The atmosphere was laid back and the music was spot on. The time passed too fast. If you haven't heard David Goodier yet, you're missing out! We will most definitely be back soon!

My wife and I were recommended this place and it lived up to expectations. The owner and bartenders were very friendly. The speciality drinks set this place apart from any other place. We plan on coming back here any time we visit Terre Haute. Job well done!

One of the best college bars of Terre Haute. Thursday is the best night with the multiple 1 dollar drinks. Don't forget to tip the great staff. Often there is great bands that will come in on different nights.

This was my spot in college. It still continues to hold a special place in my heart. I'm returning to college and plan to return to this bar! Great drinks, great customers, awesome bartenders. This place couldn't get much better.

I've been to bars all over the United States. The Verve is a great bar, and if you think it's boring, you've NEVER been there when Lukas Autry Nelson & POTR is playing!! Love the back room with the original mosaic on the walls!! Absolutely gorgeous!!
