Half Full

Had an excellent experience here! I thought they're main offering was basically pizza but it is actually a wide range of flatbreads that were all delicious! A nice wine selection to go with your meal and a very cozy inside with attractive decor and ambiance. The staff were friendly and inviting. The outside seating is also pleasant as you are on a lovely Lewes side street with lots of people walking by. A new one to add to our "Gotta go again!" list.

Tonight was our third visit to Half Full. It was quite busy because of the Wednesday wine special. We couldn’t get a table right away and waited our turn to get one.
Two employees, Tom and Krista, couldn’t have been more attentive, and proactive in trying to get us seated quickly.
Once seated, they checked in with us several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Great employees.
The food here is excellent, and the atmosphere cozy and comfortable.
Half Full is one of our new favorite places in Lewes due to the food and service.

Half Full is a great cozy pizza shop with a fantastic area to eat outside. Paula and her staff are the absolute best. They are all very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The menu has something for everyone and of course they make excellent pizza too. They have a solid selection of draft beer, cans and bottles as well as a very good selection of wines with some on draft too. It's one of our 'go to' places for an easy, fun and delicious meal.

My friend and I were warmly greeted and opted for artisan pizzas served on the screened porch. This was the best wood-fired pizza I have ever had ! If you are in Lewes, I recommend that you try it!

The manager, Tyler is so nice and friendly! He always has a great suggestion for dinner and makes us feel like family when we're there! The beef and blue is so delicious! Do yourself a favor and have your next dinner at Half Full!!

My wife and I stopped in during our Staycation in DE! Seriously great location and the pizza and drinks were absolutely amazing! I did think the walking to counter was a little quirky, but it works smoothly. Stoop was extremely friendly. Can sit inside or a small outdoor section. Dessert was also great! Absolutely will be back!!!

At our table, we had the Fig & Arugula and Beef & Blue pizzas. The Fig was excellent. The Blue was also very good, although it was very smokey - so best experienced in moderation.

The beer tap selection was decent, three solid craft brews while we were there. There were also a couple of wines on tap, which was refreshing as I don't see that very often.

The seating is a bit crowded, and the tables are tiny, so groups over 3 will be less comfortable. Ordering and payment are all done at the front counter but staffing is minimal and space is tight, so it's clearly designed around those limitations.

Overall, it's not the best pizza I've had, and it's far from the best tap selection, but it's a solid choice for a night out with a couple friends.

Absolutely delicious pizza, food came out so fast, and amazing service. We were dining with our two dogs and we had a wonderful experience. A must try if in Lewes!

It was my first time being in this cozy local restaurant. Located in the heart of Lewes. I loved their wine selection, and the biggest surprise (positive) was pizza. It is soo good! Think crust, well baked with lots of flavors! Stop by for quick bite, you will love It!

A really cozy place with such kind genuine people who clearly love what they're doing. There was a customizable pizza menu with a lot of variety and a great wine and beer selection. We had a great time and everything was delicious!

THE BEST PIZZA EVER! The spicy meatball is phenomenal and by far, my favorite. They offer the most interesting options but I only ever get the meatball. When we have friends in town, they always suggest we order from Half Full. Each of them raves about the food! Although they are almost always at capacity & it can be difficult to get a seat, the wait is never too long for pick up.

I absolutely love coming here. If this is your first time visiting you should really have this on your list. Always check the special as those pizzas are always fun. If it’s nice out ask for the porch.

Slammed on a Friday summer night but wait not bad. Excellent service by the “hostess” and the staff. Pizza crust was amazing and cooked perfectly. Draft wine was great even though I wish the red were closer to cellar temperature.

Comfy casual delicious. Two soups, both excellent. Fun pizza combos. Nice beer and wine selection. A breath of fresh air among over priced average beach fare restaurants. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite stops. It is a very small space and is usually crowded, but their pizza is fantastic. This time I had the Fig & Arugla pizza and their draft Cab Sav

I usually prefer a classic cheese pizza, but all of the inventive pies I have had here have been incredible (gouda chicken, goat cheese artichoke, berry brie... YUM). They also have great service, and I love the ease of ordering at the counter and grabbing a seat. AND they are the only place in Lewes with space heaters in their outdoor seating area, so you can eat on the patio year round. Love this place! Only wish they were open during the day.

Our favorite spot in Lewes, two years running! The friendly counter service model keeps it casual, and the pizza is delicious. We've also enjoyed the variety of beers on tap.

Consistently excellent. They have unique, rectangular, individual pizzas - not your normal pizza place (though I love those as well). Great customer experience - we mostly get take out. We do miss the fig pizza though!

If there's a line you know it's a good place. We were seated within 5 minutes and enjoyed 4 pizzas, 3 salads, some wine, draft cocktail and beer. Will absolutely come back. Great atmosphere. Get in line, order your food and it comes out fast. Wonderful service staff. Looking forward to being even more full.
