Hampton Inn Terre Haute

I had a wonderful weekend. Everything on point. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great. I was so surprised that the carpets were well kept. There was no musky smell in the room or hallways. That is a plus for me. Because I have stayed in good hotels that their carpets smell gross. But over all the stay was great. This will be my new spot when I visit Terre Haute.

I only stayed one night but had a good experience overall. The room was clean and nice, bed was comfy, everything worked, shower had hot water. The front desk was nice enough to set aside my iPad I left in the room. I was able to stop and pick it up with no issues. I will stay here again next time I'm in the area.

I needed a full document scan, and they do quick and courtesy; breakfast buffet was like any Hampton Inn, just what you need to star the journey.

The reason for the four stars on the rooms is that they need renovations.

This is a nice place. Good rooms. Excellent service from the front desk to housekeeping and all other employees. Very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is good, even though it was a busy memorial day weekend. Standing room only for Sunday morning. Nothing lacked in needed replaced on the buffet. Kids loved the chocolate waffles. The pool was clean and in good condition. Elevators, hallways, and entrances were clean and in good condition. The only negative is that the toilet was so low. My wife is 5'2" and she even thought is was low for her. Definitely not a deal breaker.

The staff at this Hampton Inn is worth their weight in gold. I had a stressful work trip over a holiday and they made my week so much better and easier. Holly at the front desk in particular goes above and beyond for her guests. She was warm, kind, and welcoming to everyone that came through the lobby and she was incredibly hardworking and took great care of her employees. I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels (I will be staying in NINE different Hamptons this month) and I don’t think I’ve ever been as impressed with the service as I have on this trip.

Honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had. No, the hotel is not 100% modernized, but it is nice enough and comfortable. The rooms are pretty big as well. The staff is incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is going well. Breakfast was really good and they switch it up every day, which is nice for people like myself who stay for 2+ weeks at a time. They are dog-friendly and have several trash cans outside to clean up after them.

Stopped here during my cross country road trip. They were swamped with helping locals who lost their power but I still received quick and efficient service. Room was clean, bed comfy.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very nice/spacious and comfortable beds! The breakfast had everything you need especially with two young kids. Convenient location too right off the main road.

Good location just off I70. Check in was fine. Room was good as well, typical for Hampton.

The staff were all very Professional and friendly. The room and hotel were very clean overall and the pool area is nice as well. This is a very big hotel with lots of amenities and plenty of places to eat around it. Mostly everything you need is within 10 minutes of this hotel. Overall 4 stars.

Holly Bell greeted me at the front desk and she was really pleasant and happy. It's always wonderful to be greeted with a smile and great attitude. The room is great too. I'm glad I stopped her after a long day on the road!!!

Absolutely awesome place to stay!! The staff, Crystal, Devan, Karen, Nicole and the young day manager are so caring, pleasant, and helpful!!! Great to work with and you feel like you are at home with family!!! I can't begin to tell what a great place to be!!! Thank you for such a wonderful place to be!!! Very clean and nice room. Coffee maker, ironing board, blow dryer, mini-fridge, nice television, blackout blinds that were colored thick fabric, wonderful air conditioning. Ample parking. Very friendly staff. Food and snacks and drinks downstairs for sale. If you use the shower, the strange thing is, the way to turn the shower on from the tub setting, os a tiny straight little button that juts out about an inch below the faucet. Never have I seen this before. Recommend this place. Very clean and everything you need inside the room.

Pet friendly! Marquise at the front desk was amazing! He was exceptionally knowledgeable and courteous. He helped point us in the right direction for dinner and made the over-the-phone booking process super easy! The hotel itself is very clean and each room has a seal on the door proving that you are the first person to enter since the last cleaning. Beds are comfortable. Even though the hotel is close to I-70 we could not hear it at all (our room even faced I-70). Close to gas stations and food.

Great service nice room. Great breakfast wonderful staff. I was in town for Walmart open Call.

This is by far, the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. They genuinely care about YOU and YOUR experience. It's perfect for long stay. It's unfortunate that they don't have larger suites, but its accommodation is barnon and it's location is impeccably convenient. The mall is right behind it, sams club, Walmart and kroger are all within a 5 minute drive, there is a gas station right next to it.

I'd highly recommend, just for the experience with the staff at breakfast and the front desk.

The friendly staff is the greatest asset of this hotel. Very easy check-in and check-out. Rooms were decent enough, though there were minor maintenance issues, none of which were showstoppers for us. Was a little noisy from the highway, but not too bad. Good location for accessing eateries. Would recommend.

Clean room, nice employees. We left my sons iPad and they were honest and shipped it to us. Couldn’t ask for much more. Good place to stay.
