Shogun Japanese Restaurant

It's been a few days of travel since I have gotten a chance to eat real food so we decided to go here. Glad we did because it was a great experience. The service here is awesome, our server was very helpful and came to us quickly. They made our food exceptionally fast, I was concerned that it might have been nuked because of the speed but everything was evenly cooked and the hibachi cooking method was evident. Personally I think the food was too saucy for my personal preference, but the sauce was really good. The place was very clean and the ascetic was quaint. If you find yourself in this Parr of the world check this out.

A recent dinner here left me pleasantly surprised. Food was good, service was excellent. I am by no means a sushi expert but my wife and I really enjoyed our meal. Things were fresh and nicely prepared with fairly quick service.

Much better than expected considering it's small town Delaware.

Best Sushi around actually the only Sushi around but it’s amazing!!! I usually get a custom roll but tonight I tried the “rock ‘n’ roll”probably one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had It’s so good I want to go out and get another one!! When I was in Florida, I ate sushi twice a week and since moving back to Delaware. I was scared. I wasn’t gonna find a sushi place that I liked in. This place is amazing. 🤩 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🍱🍣 And the staff is very nice!! P.S. it’s reasonably priced too

Love this place! Been many times. The food is really good. Reminds me of Tokyo steak house. They are timely. The customer service is great. Low lighting calm atmosphere. I’m a very picky person and I think it is a clean restaurant. The only thing I would change is get a variety of alcohol.

The sushi here is top quality! If you are in the area and like sushi, it's a must visit. I highly recommend the Ocean Roll. The service was very friendly and the sushi was made very quickly.

I like the sushi (snow mountain)! But as I was ordering the other day, I asked how much was the little side salads stacked up by the register. The young lady who waited on me said $3 but it was just lettuce so I was not paying $3…so I very politely declined. So when I was being checked out, the lady was pretending like she was gonna pack a salad in with my food, patted around the box as if to give me a hopeful climax and then place the salad back into the stack of others waiting to be purchased. 🤣 I thought it was hilarious that she was so offended that she thought to tease me.
Anyway, they are quite delicious little salads but if you’ve got shredded lettuce, diced cucumbers, and minced cabbage bits (which is the secret kick) you’ve got the same thing! Throw some pepper and ranch on it! They don’t even put diced tomato on it! But you can and share with others for $3. I like the food there but I can agree with everyone else about their attitudes.

This restaurant is located in the same plaza as the Walmart in Seaford, Delaware. We had their sashimi platter and a plate of spicy sushi rolls (tuna, salmon, yellowtail) and everything was very good . For drink, we had cold sake and a homemade blueberry lemonade, which was very refreshing. They have other selections for those who don't like raw fish, but we sure are glad that there is such a good sushi and sashimi restaurant in Seaford.

Consistently GREAT food and service. The Hibachi Chicken and Beef is delicious as are the Philadelphia and California rolls. Shogun is our new go-to for a quick healthy dinner out.

I'm in love with this place! Don't let the fact that it's located in a strip mall deter you. Inside is a wonderfully decorated and quiet setting, perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends.

My kids and I stopped in for lunch. My daughter is a total sushi fan so her and I created a platter to share. My son opted to try the beef fried rice. We were amazed at the quantity and quality of our food. As a local you get a feel for this type of thing and have a certain expectation of what to receive when you order. Wonderful Hidden Gem! Friendly staff greet you coming in and make sure that you are happy with everything you order. The appetizers, salad and sushi were served in beautiful presentation and FAST! Not to mention delicious! They even make their own Strawberry Lemonade, with real strawberries! It was just amazing. We will definitely be going back again, and again.

Came to visit Wife working in the area, from south FL. Lunch special was amazing. Had hibachi steak. Service perfect and price was amazing. Meal like that in my home town would of been double the price.

Stopped here for dinner on way to Virginia Beach. Hands down the best sushi we have ever had, in every way. Large portions, very reasonable prices, unique rolls. Snow Mountain roll (Shrimp Tempura) was amazing. If you are in the area be sure to stop in.

We loooooove this place!! The sushi is really good here! And they do an excellent job with their carryout orders. They've never gotten anything wrong, and we've been getting food from them for years!!
