Lazy L At Willow Creek Bed & Breakfast

The Lazy L is a dream spot for nature loving dog families. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and have spectacular views of willow creek. There's a pool, hot tub, fireplace and more for spending time unwinding in the evening. There is a kitchen available on the room floors to keep snacks too. There's access to TONS of kayaks and a nice nature trail.

For dogs, our pup got his very own welcome bag, there's dog towels in each room and outside. There's even a gated dog park with lots of toys on the property for pups who need a run around. You and you pup will feel welcome and not a burden as some places may have you feel

Tons of games, books, and dvd library for a night in. oh, and the breakfast is wonderful, something for everyone!

Lazy L was a fantastic find. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the property is gorgeous but not fussy, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was interesting and tasty, and the location was perfect. Right on the edge of the marsh with kayaks for active exploration and a hot tub for quiet enjoyment; a very brief drive into Lewes, close to the beach, and easy access to Rehoboth. My only disappointment is that, despite the dog friendly vibe, I didn't get to pet any dogs. Thanks for a super restful weekend, Lazy L!

I would recommend the Lazy L to anyone! Staff was very welcoming to us and our furry friend. Quality breakfast served daily with options for those with dietary restrictions.

For those looking for a quiet oasis that is close to the beach, come here! Plenty of options on the property to relax, including the pool, hot tub, walking trails, fire area, indoor scenic loft, and game room. A quick 15 minute drive to Cape Henlopen State Park where dogs can go on the beach year round (unguarded beaches only). We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had a very enjoyable two night stay in mid October with our beagle, Scout. It's rare to find accommodations that even allow pets, so a bed and breakfast that openly welcomes them is a real gem. The grounds are beautiful and quiet, but not too far away from things to do in Lewes and Rehoboth. Everyone on the staff was helpful and welcoming too. We hope to make it back here sometime soon.

We had such a great experience at Lazy L, including communication leading up to our reservation. We brought along two dogs and stayed in the Seascape suite. The grounds are just gorgeous, there's so much room to walk and soak in nature. The dog park was perfect to give our dogs time off leash - there was lots of space with water and toys available! The room was lovely, especially the dog-friendly touches (goodies, dog blankets/towels). I also liked the other available space in the BnB like the living room and game space downstairs. Breakfast was SO good! I would love to come back!

Had a quick but great visit. Our dog Jackson loved the property. Location was quiet but a short drive to Lewes. Was very impressed with the breakfast spread. Staff were friendly and attentive.

This was our 2nd year in a row going to the Lazy L. My son, daughter-in-law, and long haired mini dachshund, Lars and I couldn't wait to get back to the Lazy L to see Meta, Christine and Jim. They oversee the B & B. And let me tell you, they are all FABULOUS, WONDERFUL, KIND AND THOUGHTFUL PEOPLE! Not only is this, hands down, the best breakfast you will ever have, it is displayed incredibly well. My daughter-in-law is expecting a baby and as soon as Meta and Christine heard the news there was a lovely baby gift bag loaded with incredible gifts with a bottle of wine! The owners, Carrie and Lou Wolinetz were there when we were there. I suggested that it would be nice to add a 2nd bedroom and bath to the Denver Cottage or build another cottage. One more thing...since the Denver Cottage only has one bedroom and one bath, we decided to rent the bottom level which has two bedrooms and a common area. What we didn't know is that all of the early morning breakfast prep starts about 6:00 am right above us! Meta and Christine wear soft footies to keep the noise level down but every morning the dog and I were up at 6:00 am. Also, the air conditioner broke in both bedrooms. The owner, Lou, bought a window air conditioner. After he put it in the window, we came back after dinner and the side piece snapped back which so there was a large area of outside exposed. It took my son 45 minutes to kill all of the bugs that flew in!

My husband and I stayed here as a one last getaway before baby for a weekend. We were supposed to bring the dogs, unfortunately they didn't come this time and showed up late due to traffic(no problems about either issue with the innkeepers). Room and cleanliness was great, where we stayed I am glad we didn't bring the dogs because it would have been a bit cramped. They do have a lot of space for pups to run outside and a private cottage which I would book in the future if we had pups. Grounds and pool were very kept up and we even used the grill there one evening for a nice steak dinner. Plenty to do around the area and at the bnb if you like exploring. We even went fishing off their dock here which was fun! Breakfast was great both mornings we were here, a good variety of food and beverages. I would definitely recommend and come back in the future!

This bed and breakfast was amazing! Beautiful cozy getaway that is only minutes away from hustle and bustle of tourists by the beach. It was very easy to get to and get to other attractions from here. The overall property is beautiful to just enjoy and the rooms were well kept. While you may come for the different things you want to do around the area, the property itself is a getaway! They have a game room downstairs, multiple beautiful outdoor areas to lounge in, a pool with a bar, and the ability to go kayaking at the lake!

Breakfast served in the morning is an amazing gourmet breakfast. I will be dreaming about the spinach pies that we ate and trying to copy this recipe! The innkeepers went above and beyond; they were so courteous and helpful. Truly made this feel like a home away from home.

My husband and I went for a July 4th weekend getaway. We just can't say enough. It was like a hidden gem. A beautiful and serene location with great service from the inn keepers. And the breakfast.....simply delicious!

We had such a great time here. They're VERY dog-friendly, and I get the feeling it might be a fun place to take a kid as well. Pork Chop made a ton of friends. Well-maintained grounds, the pool was nice, amenities openly available for use. It honestly felt kind of like I was renting a giant airbnb with a bunch of friends, the vibe is very relaxed and welcoming. Except an airbnb would not provide the STELLAR breakfast these guys pumped out every morning. Seriously, absurdly good breakfast. They don't overload you with bacon and greasy things like some breakfast situations, there was always a diverse array of high-quality, locally-sourced things that were clearly made with an abundance of care. Any time we have a road trip to break up, if it is feasible to stop here we will do so.

A little off the beaten path but a very nice property that feels extremely relaxing on a creek with a nice fireplace, hot tub and pool for all times of the year. It's the most dog friendly hotel I've ever visited (large dog run, dog sheets and towel in the room, outside dog showers, etc.) and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a B&B. Highly recommend!

Very quaint, clean, charming, secluded B&B. Privste, away from the crowds, but close to everything. Great breakfast with friendly staff. Kayaking, swimming, hot tub, fire pits. Just a really nice all around place.

Lovely inn in a gorgeous setting and as doggy friendly as can be. Very convenient to restaurants, shopping and great beaches, comfy rooms and especially attentive hospitality from innkeeper Rose. We look forward to returning with our pup.

Best kept secret on the beach. This place has everything you and your dogs need for a perfect vacation. It’s a short drive from the beach, and has an on-site dog park, great food, and beautiful gardens.

This is a great bed and breakfast. The surroundings are beautiful, the staff friendly and attentive, the accommodations are relaxing and the breakfast is delicious. This has to be one of the best b & b's on the east coast. It's definitely the best one in Delaware!!
