Porter's Restaurant and Smokehouse

Stopped here for a quick pre birthday lunch. Happened upon this quaint restaurant off the beaten path during the pandemic. Everything we've ordered thus far has been delicious. The salad bar is what drew us here and I must say it is absolutely delightful with a wonderful selection of fresh veggies, fruit and ready made side dishes such as pasta salads, potato salad and ambrosia salad to name a few. The service here is on par, everyone we've met has been friendly & accommodating. The atmosphere has a rustic charm to it which is inviting.

I ordered the Surf and Turf, Mom had the Blackened Catfish and Dad had the Pan Seared Salmon.

We had a great time. Came for a birthday brunch and the service was great. We were seated right away, and drinks were served right away. The waiter was really nice. Appetizers were amazing! We almost didn't leave room for the entrees. Everything was really good and left with a full belly with leftovers to go. We had an amazing experience. We recommend eating here.

very surprised by this place. they are under new ownership so i gave them another chance. delicious breakfast! lots of options. we had the waffle, breakfast burrito, french toast & all was amazing! great service too. will be back some time to dry the lunch/dinner menu.

Was in town and needed some food so we stopped into Porters. We were promptly sat by the hostess and within a few minutes our server stopped by to take drink orders. When returning qith the drinks she took our order and the food was out very quick! We ordered fried mushrooms and fried zucchini for an appetizer. I got 1/4lb chicken fried steak that came woth two sides, I got coleslaw and broccoli. The slaw was delicious as well as the broccoli tho I did think the broccoli could be steamed a little longer and I added salt to taste. My boyfriend got a burger and French fries. The Chipotle sauce on the burger was SPICY but very good if you like a kick.
Good choice for dinner! Glad we stopped by

We stopped in at Porter's Restaurant and Smokehouse. We had 6oz Steak,bake potatoes, house salad & corn, squash, onion saute togather. The Steak & potatoes was delicious but,I didn't like the veggies. the restaurant was warm inside. The waitress was nice but,she kept pulling down her face mask to talk 😖. My experience was ok.

Great place to eat. Just have to wait a little to be seated but it's like that everywhere do to covid. But it's worth the wait great food great people what more could you ask for👍👍🤠🤠

Damn! Great staff, amazing food, comfortable atmosphere! Definitely priced right! So glad we decided to stop on our way through. Will definitely be back!

Had the ¼lb chicken fried steak with a baked potato an veggies! Luv'd every bite! Worth the wait! An also ordered the Fried Zucchini! They where cut into spears an very crispy. I recommend! Took a nite of daughter's Blue Moon Chicken Alfredo and was also very delicious!

It has been a very long time since I went out to eat, ordered a steak, and was delighted by the quality. I would recommend Porter's to anyone looking for a good dinner.

Good food. I'm glad they have the blue moon options. I grew up going to blue moon with my grandparents and was so sad they closed. Good to know I can still get nostalgic when I eat here.

The food is good, the salad bar is great. I enjoy every time I go. Excellent friendly service, our waitress every visit are attentive very awesome service. I recommend this place. 👌

Great bbq. Had the combo plate, brisket, ribs, and andouilli sausage. Very good and very filling. Great server too.

Always love the lady's and there positive energy is a plus and that makes this place so beautiful!!

When you walk in, you know you've come to the right place. The smell of smoke is alluring. Great service, good portions, and all for what I think is a reasonable price. I didn't leave there hungry.

The food is great, from thier BBQ to thier Mexican food it's always very good. The bacon wrapped jalapeños are the best.

I had the buffet. I enjoy the Salad Bar, Beef Ribs, Beef Brisket and Sweet tea. The salad bar had alot too chose from. The Beef Ribs and Beef Brisket was very delicious along with BBQ sauce. The Waitress was very attentive and kept are drinks full. I enjoyed our experience here.

What a wonderful place to eat. Staff (Dustin) and food were on point and excellent. Prices were more than reasonable and large portion sizes.
