This is a beautiful park. There's good parking. A covered area. And a little lake/pond.

We came to Jonesboro for the eclipse. We drive to Walnut Ridge City Park as the eclipse lasted almost 90 seconds longer than in Jonesboro. From we could tell the park is pretty nice.

Walnut Ridge-you win for hospitality. We drove up for the eclipse and a better reception could not be had. 1. You let us park all over and no one was upset about it even though you would have had a right to be. 2. I don't think I've ever been around a larger group of more polite, well-behaved humans post-COVID. 3. This one is related to the last one...but everyone was so orderly leaving the park. 4. Everyone I saw was picking up their pet poops. 5. No law enforcement was required to make the above happen. 7. There was no charge. I was flabbergasted...with everyone trying to make a buck...this sweet place seemed just happy to have the company. 8. A big overall thank you to Arkansas at large for the graciousness (no price gouging, police helping traffic move).

Great little city park. Nice grove of trees, play equipment in the shade, ball fields. I like that there’s several shelters and shady areas with decent views. Would be a great place for artists to practice landscapes and trees. Fishing pond for kids and seniors or disabled persons. Bathrooms are basic and clean. Lots of easy parking, even for RVs although the road coming into town goes over a huge lump over train tracks so beware if you have a trailer. There’s probably better routes. No fees. Nice place!

I drove thru to see the Christmas lights. I was super impressed with the amount of lights. I came from Mountain Home and I think this is better than the ones I have seen there. I was also excited to see the size of the park. Nice surprise.

The park is great and the kids love to play there. You can fish or just enjoy looking at the little lake. You can have birthday partys or etc partys there. The community pool is awsome to. It's 5.00 a person. There are snacks you can get to. There's a kiddy pool, diving board, and a slide.

The lights in the park are so cute for our small town. I was very impressed with the display this year. There is lots of equipment for children to play on and several good picnicking areas. The walking track is shaded and very nice for families or running.

The Christmas Lights are up for a least a month. It's worth the drive through to go see them.

This is a nice park. It has a 1 1/8 mile measured course to walk or jog around. There is a covered pavilion, basketball court, swings and a fishing lake. It is central to softball fields and the city pool is very near.

We stopped in while traveling north and found a gem of a park. There is a covered playground with lots of equipment. A bench swing for parents. A big pavilion with a fireplace, and several small individual covered picnic tables. Then we saw this cool trail, it is meant for hiking or biking, and my kids loved it. There were bridges, downed trees making a hill, teeter totter ramps and other obstacles. I can't wait to come back again on our next trip!

A place to have fun with kids, jogging, walking and a free fishing pond for the disabled or children under a certain age. There are basketball goals, playground, baseball fields, 3 shelter for groups, picnic tables with grills and swimming pool.
