Big Gilley's Smokehouse and Diner

Through Facebook I couldn't wait to try this place! The food looked amazing on their site posts! It was months before getting the chance to go but we drove over 30 minutes. At first glance the outside doesn't look like a popular place but trust and enter! We were the only customers so service was nice and convenient. The stuffed twinkies (poppers) where I'm from were delicious! Dirty fries were the best and the mac n brisket burrito was OK. Worth the drive!

We had the 1/2 meat plate with pulled pork and brisket, Mac & cheese and backed beans. The food was delicious and fresh. Service was quick, wait staff were attentive.

Absolutely wonderful food. We shared the Smoked Queso Nachos with pulled pork. I highly recommend them.

Best BBQ I have ever had. Try the big nasty or big ugly fries with pulled pork. Yummmm

Visited Big Gilley’s for the first time today. Best brisket I’ve had in a long, long time. Would recommend ordering it “moist”. Wife had the baked potato with pulled pork. Also very good. Both best without sauce but the house sauce was delicious…a little bit of heat, not too sweet. Servers were great and friendly too. Building's not fancy but is homey and comfortable. Will be back. Need to try non-bbq offerings, especially fried chicken on Thursdays.

Big Gilley’s delivers with Big Flavor! Found this dive on our way to Broken Bow and am so glad we made the diversion. Everything from the pulled pork sandwich, smoked ribs, smoked queso or hand cut fries are wonderful.

The best barbecue in town is always tender& juicy. The sides are very good, and all is homemade. Desserts I have tried are very good as well, I haven't tried the fried twinkle. IT definitely gets a 5 stars from my husband and I.

The food was delicious! I highly recommend the brisket sandwich! Clean atmosphere with friendly staff, these days that is hard to find. When I find friendly staff it makes me want to come back even more!

When we first looked at the restaurant, my mother and I thought, "No way!" We gave it the benefit of the doubt and am glad we did! The food and everything were above our expectations! Next time we are back this way, we'll be stopping again to eat there! Highly recommend stopping by to grab a bite!

Finally got the chance to stop by, we were very pleased! I got the Big Nasty with brisket and hubs got the Mac n cheese brisket wrap. It was so good, and both orders made 2 meals! Thank you!

Seriously the best BBQ and cheesecake!! My husband got the smoked queso nachos with pulled pork, & a rib sandwich. I got a cut brisket sandwich, okra, and coleslaw. We ordered a slice of cheesecake. Everything was absolutely perfect. Best bbq!! Wonderful customer service!

Great little place off the side of the road with friendly workers and good food. I will stop in again if I'm passing through.

Almost missed it. The building looked empty from the outside but I came after lunch hours. I usually go to Naaman's when I'm in Texarkana but I decided to take a chance on a new spot. The place looks very well kept on the inside. The ladies at the counter were very friendly and insightful with the menu, informing me of the specials and their recommendations. I decided to go with the ribs, sliced brisket and the smoked wings (special of the day.) The ribs were cooked competition style (if you're looking for "fall off the bone" ribs, these aren't it.) They were seasoned well, smoked well and cooked just the way I like em. The brisket was very tender, juicy but could have used some salt. Added the sauce to them and it worked out. The smoked wings were smoked and seasoned to perfection. They suggested that I get "sauce on the side" and that was a great suggestion. Although the sauce was great, I enjoy a good seasoning on my BBQ where people don't rely solely on the smoke and sauce. I didn't order any sides, I wanted to get straight to the main entrees. Overall, I enjoyed everything and I've found another diamond in the rough. I shall return!

The customer service and atmosphere were fantastic! It’s the locals favorite place to eat which speaks volume! Smoked to perfection and never ever had anything that wasn’t mouth watering!

Order a Mac n cheese and brisket wrap with the fat left on and your taste buds will be in Heaven! Highly recommended. Tried just about everything on the menu and nothing disappoints so far. I drive 45 minutes one way for their food because it is amazing!

So I got the kids plate because I've never at here before and I added a couple stuffed jalapenos to my order. It came out to $18 and I thought wow that's expensive but then I took a bite 😳 the Mac & cheese is the best Ive ever tasted! The brisket is melt in your mouth delicious and the jalapenos are out of this world! I will definitely be back!

Stopped by on the Arkansas BBQ Trail. Grabbed a Brisket Mac and cheese wrap. Easily one of the best brisket I've had in Arkansas. Good tasting bark, meat was tender and juicy (unlike all the dry pot roast parading as brisket you find in other joints). Big Gilley's rocked it out of the park. Every time I'm passing through on I30, I'm going to be making a small detour to come back and try something else.
