The Greatest Bar

Had head about it online through some great folks.on Twitter and wasn't disappointed. Great place to watch sports and congregate with Bruins and Celtics fans. A must visit when heading to Boston!

Went here right after a Bruins game. Even though it was so busy they got our drinks and food out to us so quick! The Buffalo nachos are so yummy!

Fun sports themed bar with plenty of room for groups large and small to hang out before or after a game at the garden. Very loud but if that's your kind of thing? This is the place for you!

The bar is great nice set up great music and friendly bar tenders - the downside is I had a staff member come up to me raise his voice and tell me I needed to leave because I was vaping!!! Keep in mind I had been here 2 hours and vaped the entire time including when I was paying to get in and ordering at the bar and was never told it was not allowed !!! I received no warning just a demand that I get out, I pointed out to him a few other people vaping at the time he was telling me to get out and he did not seem to care they were vaping just me!!! I let without an argument but found it to be very uncalled for and disrespectful, not sure if it was a race thing or the fact that I am openly gay but I will not be going back to this bar!!!

Stopped by after a Mariah Carey Christmas Concert. Really good bar atmosphere- especially if you're a Penn St. state fan. I would return to this place again.

This is a really cool sports bar and the service is great. The food was also very good. There are several levels of the bar and there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. This is a great place during Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots games. It rocks. Thank you to The Greatest Bar. Keep up the great work.

Very nice restaurant before a Celtics game. 4 different floors. Love the decoration of the 4th floor with Kennedys' and Washington's portraits.
Good food.

Went here before a Bruins game , obviously no seating but that was to be expected. Didn't try the food so I cannot comment or speculate on that. However atmosphere is exactly what you can expect from a sports bar across the street from the garden. Happy people hockey highlights on every screen beer was cold staff were pleasant. Gonna try this one again just a little earlier next time.

The food and wait staff are excellent. Burger was perfectly cooked and fries were fresh and hot.

Awesome place! Great music and amazing club environment. If you are looking for a great club where you can watch a basketball game and also enjoy drinking this is the place. It gets really crowded on weekends but it's a fun place.

We were looking for reservations for 11-14 people before Bruins game and no place was accommodating. I happened upon "The Greatest Bar" in a Google search and easily had my reservation. More family came than expected, including children. The waitress was flexible, found more chairs, pulled over another table and took care of us all in a timely, efficient, friendly manner. All were happy with the food. This will be my family's go to spot for Garden events. They were kid friendly and made it easy enjoyable.

The best bar for a Bruins or Celtics pre/post game. Friendly staff that have been there for a long time. Great chicken fingers, quesadillas, burgers and more. They also do many different game watches on their new massive TV. 3 different bars within the building with a different vibe to each of them. If you need a bar to go to and have a few before any event at the Garden this is your spot.
