Black Duck Tavern

Delicious meal before heading to the comedy club next door. The restaurant is large and very welcoming. The drinks are expertly made (if you like spicy drinks, go for the “Some Like it Hot”), our waitress was attentive and the food was hot and delicious.
We had to try the mozzarella sticks in the shape of ducks - gooey and stringy and the best crust! We both had sandwiches for dinner, and my burger was exceptional… juicy and tasty with an amazing fig spread.
Leave room for dessert, the caramel/salt topped cheesecake is a winner 🌟
The restaurant is accessible. There is parking in the back and on the sides, as well as street parking.

As soon as I sat, I saw that the only picture on the bar was that of Lemmy (Motorhead). Bingo! I've been to London a few times and this place has exactly that vibe. Of a fine, proper English pub. Very clean, inviting atmosphere. The servers and bar tenders were very attentive and friendly. For a pub, the food was very good and the bloody Mary was excellent. Will definitely return. My only suggestion to management is: for the tables in the middle, lose the round benches and replace with the same chairs you have at the bar. Would be much more comfortable and ladies would have a place to put their bags and coats.

Great prices at brunch! We didn’t make a reservation but we were still able to be seated right away even though it was pretty full.
It wasn’t my favorite breakfast but it is reasonably priced. So I was thrilled with everything.
Would definitely come back for their bottomless mimosas promotion. Only $15 for as many as you want in the two hours.

This is a great restaurant located seconds off the highway. If you fancy your self a night out on the town, or if your catching a comedy show next door at the comedy connection, this restaurant is the perfect place before and after the show. They have a great looking place, the inside gives off a classy relaxing vibe. They have plenty of seating , and have a nice outside patio for the warmer weather. The staff are great and attentive. Drinks and good are slammin. I’ve never been here and been disappointed. So again if your looking for a great place to try.. the Black Duck is worth the trip.

The poor waitress seemed to be servicing all the tables with little help. Nonetheless, she was as attentive as she could be. Food was great! The mozzarella ducks were SO cute! I had the impossible smash burger with mushrooms and swiss and it was delicious! The West coast burger was also good. The coffee cake (not the name on menu) was amazing, light, and not too sweet.

Alex was our server, he was fantastic. The cocktails are awesome and the burgers are super filling and fresh! My fav go to bar for a great vibe and great bar food! The mozzarella ducks are amazing as well! Thanks Black Duck Tavern!!!

Came here for a birthday brunch and from the moment i sat down to leaving the service was A1. Bottomless mimosas kept flowing. Food was delicious. 10/10 experience. I would definitely recommend.

Last night, before heading to a comedy show, me and two friends decided to try out the Black Duck Tavern, and we were blown away by the experience.

The cocktails were the first highlight, each one fabulously crafted, setting the perfect tone for the evening.We shared a couple of appetizers - the crab rangoons and chicken wings. Both dishes were exceptional, far surpassing our expectations. The true star of the night, however, was the fried chicken sandwich. Each of us ordered one, and we all agreed they were absolutely fabulous, a testament to the quality and creativity of the kitchen.

The Black Duck Tavern is a shining example of how good Rhode Island's food scene really is. The service was as impressive as the food - friendly, attentive, and adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. And to top it all off, the prices were fantastic, providing great value.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. It's not just a meal; it's a culinary adventure that's not to be missed!

Perfect place for a cute outdoor patio brunch. Absolutely, loved the Seafood Benedict! Service was somewhat slow, and it took quite a bit to actually place our orders, but the waitress was super friendly and with the food being so delicious, I am excited to go back again.

Love this place. The food and beer is fantastic (definitely some of the best beer selection in east Providence)! The staff is great too!

The Black Duck Tavern in East Providence is a throwback bar to a great experience and the way a great bar should be. They have over 100 beers in cans and bottles and a great tap, and they have plenty of wine varieties. I had the opportunity to have seafood and fried pickles and it was terrific. This is absolutely a great place to bring a date, or your better half. This is a one-of-a-kind bar in the Providence area. Definitely coming back!

The mozzarella ducks were amazing. My favorite entrée is the salmon burger. The staff here are always friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

Absolutely loved this place! Very cozy, nice bar, and everyone is very open, warm, and friendly! Mixed drinks were unique and fun, and the food was excellent. Prices are pretty average for Providence. We also did a little karaoke which was a blast! Have returned several times, and it's likely going to be in our list for some time.

This is our third or fourth time stopping here and every time has been fantastic. I'm writing a review this time because last night when we arrived it was quiet. We asked for a table however there were no seats. So my husband and I sat next to each other. Very romantic. It became extremely busy due to the comedy show. The hostess, wish I got her name, asked if we were ok sitting next to each other. My husband told her it was romantic and she said something about it can't be with a candle that doesn't work. It didn't bother me it was a dull light however she did and brought a new one. Then our server, I believe she said her name was Alana, was amazing. She had so many tables however never lost her smile and checked that everything was OK. I don't understand the bad reviews because our experiences have been amazing. I saw on some posts the owners name is Corey. If you are reading this, we were there around 5pm. Please, give the hostess 5 stars from us and tell Alana to keep smiling, she's doing an amazing job!

Awesome food, staff is very nice. Its a small place but very warm environment. I got the west coast burger, was delicious. Get the duck shaped mozzarella for app. Was very good. Drinks are also amazing. Had the strawberry margarita, highly recommend it and the coffee drink, also very good.

Really nice place. Good food and staff. Can't wait to get back there and try more of the menu.

Pork belly with black beans small plate absolutely delicious!!! And so filling!! I also bought loaded tater tots and was not able to eat them so full! friendly nice staff clean and comfortable! Will definitely revisit

This place is absolutely fantastic. Prices are more than reasonable, portions are perfect. Their chili is the best I've ever had. They also have a great rotating craft beer selection! The atmosphere is chill and clean. This is the perfect "local" spot to go visit if you're in the area. Being right next to a comedy club makes for an even better night out. The food was amazing. Everything was piping hot. Had the duck shaped fried mozzarella. The west coast burger and the cafe Americano cake. Definitely the place to be before or after the show next day. The staff was very nice. The prices are reasonable.
