I give A Little Inn my strongest possible recommendation. John and Phoebe are outstanding hosts. They went above and beyond assisting us with our daughter's wedding. The location has beautiful views, great breakfasts, and is someplace I would like to return to and enjoy the peace and serenity. A Little Inn is a Cape Cod gem. I cannot recommend more highly.

The Little Inn is nothing short of a magical place on Cape Cod. I approached John and Phoebe over a year ago to see if they would be willing to let me have a wedding ceremony and host my family for the weekend at their Inn after we had family stay at this place years previously. This is not something the Little Inn typically does, but they made an exception and welcomed me with open arms and more support than I could ever dream of. I can't put into words how kind the staff at The Little Inn are. They have made us patrons for life, and I am so excited to be back and visit them, the Inn, and their dog Eloise very soon.

This "Little Inn on Pleasant Bay" has nothing little, everything is amazing and great. It's not only a place to stay, it' s a place to live in. We felt like home when we stayed there for our wedding anniversary.
Phoebe and John made us feel at home in their charming and comfortable house. They give you good tips and conversation over a delicious breakfast every morning. They really go far and beyond to make you enjoy your stay.

It is located in front of the bay and the views are wonderful, don't miss the sunrise. We stayed at the Knockabout room that has amazing views of the sunrise over the bay. All the rooms and common areas are decorated with an excellent taste. Dinning room and living rooms are oriented both to the bay and to the lovely garden surrounding the house.

John took us on a boat ride around the bay and he enjoyed explaining everything about the area and the wildlife. We saw hundreds of seals.

There are many places to visit in the area, Chatham, Orleans, P-Town...and the restaurants are excellent

A place to stay all year long!!

A Little Inn on Pleasant Bay deserves every star and more. If you are visiting Cape Cod, stay here, period.

This was our first visit to Cape Cod, but will certainly not be our last, mostly due to the experience we had here.

From the minute we arrived Phoebe, John, and Eloise immediately made us feel welcomed and at home.

Beyond our room, The Rookie, being comfortable, spotless, and decorated beautifully, the extras the Inn had to offer us were second to none.

Starting with the happy hour, where warm conversation with the proprietors, other guests, as well as the wine and brilliant appetizers became an event we never wanted to miss. The view overlooking Pleasant bay was ever present no matter where you sat in front of the Inn.

Breakfast, presented by by Maria and Jennifer was a delightful and delicious experience each morning. Phoebe's home made granola, and John's home made bread were among the must haves.

Our trip was planned with a few gaps in activities easily filled with recommendations from Phoebe and John. Their advice led us to some beautiful scenic views that we never would have found and an afternoon of whale watching. They also have plenty of restaurant recommendations which were very helpful.

One of the biggest highlights of our trip was right down the dock to "A Little Boat" where John and Eloise Captain a tour of Pleasant Bay. John ensures you learn as much as possible about the immediate area, and Eloise ensures that you are comfortable on the boat and that absolutely NO fishing takes place. If available, this experience should not be missed.

We were delighted to find a clean room each afternoon when we returned from exploring the Cape, making sure that each night was just as comfortable as the first.

We would recommend A Little Inn on Pleasant Bay to anyone looking to visit Cape Cod. It was a magical place we did not want to leave and we can't wait to visit again!

After an unexpected change in our plans, Phoebe and John bent over backwards to accommodate me and my daughter for our 6-night stay in Cape Cod. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every aspect of our stay! After a delicious breakfast each morning (thank you Jennifer), they helped with great recommendation (esp. restaurants). We were even lucky enough to go out on John's boat twice! The rooms were immaculate thank you Maria) and tastefully decorated. The common areas and grounds were relaxing with a beautiful view of the bay. What more can I say? Perfection!

My husband and I had an absolutely serene babymoon at Little Inn! It was the perfect location with great proximity to lots of sights as first timers to the Cape. John and Phoebe were amazing hosts. They waited up to greet us when our flight was delayed almost 8 hours and went above and beyond to accommodate our gluten allergy during breakfast (Muffins! Coffee cake! Avocado toast!). It was also amazing to have them as a resource for recs on our daily itinerary. We almost exclusively followed their restaurant recommendations, all of which were fantastic. Some additional highlights for us were the private balcony off our room that overlooked the garden (which we spent many hours on) and Eloise! 10/10 stay. Can’t wait to return.

Our mini stay on the Cape was amazing thanks to A Little Inn. Phoebe, John, and Eloise were such kind and welcoming hosts. Maria and Jennifer took great care of us too. Breakfast was always delightful and delicious. Our boat ride with John was the highlight of our trip. We can’t wait to return in the future to explore more of the Cape. Thank you!

We had just a short trip on the Cape and this place was absolutely perfect! The views and location were amazing and it was easy to get to nearby towns and attractions, but most of all John, Phoebe, and Eloise made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and relaxed during our stay! The grounds are gorgeous and you can't beat the view of the Bay. We will definitely be back and hope to bring family or friends with!

My husband, daughter and I took my parents to stay at the Little Inn. It was wonderful! John and Phoebe were such gracious hosts. They helped us with ideas of things to do and took us on a wonderful boat ride. The Inn is adorable, the food delicious and we loved our time there. Each day they hosted a little cocktail hour with appetizers overlooking the water and beautiful lawn. And the homemade breakfast was amazing. They are such engaging hosts and we enjoyed them as much as the Inn. And their precious dog, Eloise was a bonus!

Have been on the cape many times. This is a gem!

Intimate with well appointed rooms. Beautiful view, on the ocean. Only 9 rooms.

The owners really extend themselves Lovely full breakfast. Wine and cheese on the patio in the late afternoon.
On a sunny, beautiful morning we got a boat ride from the owner and their dog to a sandy beach on the other side of Strong Island. We were picked up by the owners and their dog a couple hours later.

Considerate and attentive to details. Good restaurant and specific shopping recommendations. Can't say enough nice things. As Arnold says," I'll be back!"

My family and I has the most enchanting experience at this hidden gem of a bed and breakfast. The breathtaking views were a constant source of awe, making each moment truly special. John and Phoebe (& Eloise) the hosts, went above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our stay felt more like a visit to cherished friends and family rather than a typical hotel. I can't wait to return and relive those wonderful moments.

We went to the Cape for much need peace and relaxation. The Little Inn delivered just that and more. The location is perfect - within a 10 minute drive of many good beaches, restaurants, shops, ice cream, everything you want in a Cape vacay. Staying at the Inn is truly like staying with friends. I echo all of the 5 star reviews posted here. Phoebe and John may be new to innkeeping, but you’d never know it. Their natural warmth, their good taste and attention to detail, make them perfect hosts. We look forward to returning.

Our 2 day visit exceeded our expectations. The Inn is decorated beautifully and the rooms are very comfortable. Coffee/tea are served daily, in the family room, where we enjoyed meeting other guests, followed by a European breakfast of fresh, seasonal offerings. Views of Pleasant Bay can be enjoyed from the porches or taking a walk to the private pier. Phoebe, John (and Eloise) and the staff make guests feel like "family".

This, hands down, is a 5 star review. We stayed here for our anniversary trip and loved every bit of it. The inn is stunning, yet comfortable. The hosts are friendly and inviting and always available for a chat or to offer recommendations. We even got a private boat tour of the bay, which was so neat. Every detail of the place has been carefully considered - whether it's the Adirondack chairs on the lawn overlooking the bay, the lovely dock onto the water, the sitting rooms on the first and second floors of the inn, and the dining areas. Breakfasts were warm, plentiful and delicious, and wine at 5:00 became something we didn't want to miss. The flowers and lawns are gorgeous and inviting. We found ourselves sitting on the dock, reading on the lawn, playing late night games in the sitting area (coffee and hot tea available 24 hrs), and sometimes just strolling the grounds. A delightful experience all around - we will definitely be back.

What a Blast ! 👍

I could leave 10 stars! We had a blast for 6 days. Phoebe, John and Eloise made this experience sooo special and lovely! Thanks for the boat trip 🚤 as well. We had great 6 days and will come back as soon as we can. The space was exquisitely clean, welcoming, and charming. The Staff Maria and Jennifer took wonderful care of us. The breakfast was great too. It all was more than what we could have asked for. This place is perfect if you are looking for a nice quiet home away from home. Absolutely recommended, we can't wait to go back. Thank you all. ☺

We had a fantastic stay at this authentic Cape Cod B&B, beautifully furnished to balance traditional expectations with an up-to-date execution. The personable owners are as welcoming as the breathtaking waterfront views, and the breakfast staff exudes a cheerful, eager-to-please energy that sets the tone for a blissful day. There are plenty of cozy amenities like game-stocked lounges, decent WiFi, and a boat available for personal tours around pleasant Bay. The plentiful supply of coffee, fresh beach towels, bath towels, spa robes and shower supplies help round out the top-to-bottom provision of all the necessities. Lastly, I can attest that speaking as a “non-dog-person”, the faithful yellow lab on property exudes a calm, zen-like energy that perfectly suits this ideal getaway setting. I highly recommend, and will be sure to book another stay in the near future!

If we could give more than 5 stars for service, we would! John and Phoebe have a beautiful property to share and they are perfect hosts - very helpful, personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They also have a wonderful support staff in Jennifer and Maria. Everyone’s enthusiasm is so refreshing. And the close proximity to Chatham is ideal. This is a definite YES if you are visiting Cape Cod.

If we could leave 10 stars we would! The new owners (Phoebe, John, and their pup Eloise) made this experience one of a kind and are the sweetest people you will meet. The space was exquisitely clean, welcoming, and charming. The hospitality of the staff was more than what we could have asked for. This place is perfect if you are looking for a nice quiet home away from home. Absolutely recommended, we can't wait to go back :)

Truly an amazing experience. The grounds are gorgeous with the most beautiful landscaping. We spend lots of time sitting outside just taking in the view! The rooms were clean and well kept and what we needed. But the staff really sets this place apart. Pamela and Sandra are the quintessential bed and breakfast hosts- so lovely and friendly. They were able to help us with any questions and recommendations we needed. Maria, our breakfast host, was so kind. Couldn't recommend this place more!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at a little inn on pleasant bay for a long weekend. We arrived before check in time and Phoebe was so kind to let us check in early. We were warmly greeted by her and her dog Eloise. If you’re looking for a quaint, peaceful, beautiful place to stay this is it! Phoebe and her husband John are extremely friendly and maintain the property so beautifully! Staff are so kind and it is conveniently located near restaurants and only a few mins drive to Nauset beach and the cute town of Chatham. Phoebe and John email a recommendation list once you book of places to eat and things to do and I highly recommend you check the places out. We personally loved Rock Harbor grill pizza was amazing and also Pate’s for dinner. There is an ice cream place nearby called sweet dreams and you have to try their s’mores ice cream the best we ever had! We will definitely re book here in the near future!
