Unique place highly recommended by friends and locals! Better be hungry because of the big portions! And great service! Really great service! We came back multiple times for the food and great service!

We had a great experience at Mammy’s with our family! Thank you for your help in accommodating our large group and making our experience so welcoming and wonderful. The food was outstanding with tasty skillets, biscuits and pancakes bigger than your face! Great family atmosphere complete with Mammy’s own shop full of local treats and treasures. Consider making this one of your food stops when you visit Bardstown.

This is an incredible place and recommended by locals. This is as local of a joint as you can get, with incredible home cooked meals. They have a decent selection of bourbon flights. I hear their steak burgers are incredible. I had the 12oz serloin steak with mashed potatoes and green beans (I liked the brown gravy over the white gravy. The white one was slightly sweeter and the brown one was savory). My wife had chicken and waffles, my daughter got their Mac and cheese (she wasn't a fan). My cousin's had smothered Chicken and meatloaf. All of it was good. The syrup on the chicken and waffles was AMAZING!

I wished I had gotten a better cut off steak. It was a bit too marbley and I might have gotten 8oz of steak and 4oz of fat.

The service was incredible. They're quick and very friendly.

For the bourbon flight, I had the Beautiful Booze which is three 1oz pours of Blue Run, Blade & Bow, and Willett Pot Still. My favorite on this flight was the Blue Run.

Their portion sizes are massive, so you're getting great value for price. Their pies and AMAZING! Definitely try the lemon pie. It's worth it. It's definitely an incredible place to check out.

Excellent breakfast, great staff, love the atmosphere. Our coffee cups stayed full and the coffee tasted great. Loaded hash browns were good but definitely not what I expected. The menu is very large and I wanted to try several things and I will probably go back tomorrow to have something different. You can’t go wrong with the French Toast!

Enjoyed our down home country dinner. I met Mammy herself and she was very hospitable. Hope to travel back to Bardstown again and will make another visit to Mammy’s Kitchen.

The Baby Hot Brown was so delicious. I had never had one before beings that I'm not from Kentucky. When the server explained exactly what it was, I was still skeptical, but curious, so I went with it. It was such a pleasant surprise.
My hubby enjoyed his Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, as well.
The server was attentive and helpful.
The atmosphere was adorable inside. The patio area was nice if you enjoy sitting outside.

We were here in Bardstown for the bourbon trail and dropped in here for dinner. We had previously eaten at another tavern around the corner and didn't think the food was very good. Mammys however had excellent food and decent portions. Get the tater tots as a side, the were very good. The fried pork loin with gravy was excellent. Service was very good as well.

This place was recommended to us by someone else so we decided to try it. We arrived around 1130 and was told that breakfast was served until 12. That was fine because we didn't want breakfast. We we seated within 25 to 30 minutes on a weekend.

The sweet tea was perfect and the food was amazing. Server (Katie) was great. The kids cheeseburger was bigger than we expected.

The only disappointment we had was with the chips. They didn't have any flavor to them. A little bit of salt would have helped it.

My wife and I had one of the best breakfasts either of us had in a long while. She had classic eggs Benedict and I had eggs OE, hashbrowns, sausage patties and slice of French toast. Everything was excellent. Also very good Bloody Mary. Next time I am in the neighborhood I will definitely be stopping again.

We drove 3 hours to eat here because we've missed the food so badly!! This is our absolute FAVORITE restaurant, and though it's far from us, the drive is always worth it!! Thank you, Christy and crew, for this magnificent place to come eat!!!

Love this local place. Was recommended this place by Heavenly Hill while on a barrel pick. The food was on spot and so was the service. Will definitely return! The cornbread mafia burger was perfect!

Nice place, went for lunch and it was extremely busy. Thank God we had reservations. Ordered two burgers and a Cobb salad. Portions were huge. Bourbon Hamburgers came with either chips or fries and we got one of each. The homemade potato chips were phenomenal. Service is nice but not warm and fuzzy. Great selection of bourbon.

Very good food: our spinach salad was delicious and so were our hamburgers: the Swiss and mushroom and the one with the cornbread bun. Yummy! The lemon meringue pie was good and light. Service was good, although there were quite a few tables free and clean and yet, it took a while to seat people who were waiting. The atmosphere was informal and friendly with a lot of fun Christmas decorations. Definitely worth a visit!
