The Dockside Restaurant

We had an excellent breakfast here on a Friday morning in late September. There were few patrons and the service was great. The food and the view were worth coming for! The omelettes are delicious and come with crispy home fries and warm buttered toast, and the Seafood Benny was exceptional.

First time here and most definitely going back. My husband had the Lobster Ravioli with shrimp, it was so good and big hunks of lobster in the sauce and ravioli was filled with lobster, shrimp was amazing as well. I had the scallops, shrimp over mushroom ravioli and it was one of my best meals so far on our trip. Colin was our waiter and he kept checking on us while we waited for our food. We're in town one more night and plan on going back tomorrow. It was also nice they have there own separate parking, so no need to pay a crazy price for a parking spot.

I dont really understand why this place only has 3.9 stars, because the food is delicious. I will say that their prices are a little higher than expected, but the quality of the meals me had will absolutely bring me back. The fried clam strip dinner was absolutely wonderful. The strips themselves were crunchy, and not at all chewy. They weren't heavy and I didn't feel weighed down. The chowder was very good, and my boyfriend really enjoyed his burger. You should check it out!

Nice experience for our one night stay! Went on a limb as the reviews were low but we wanted to dine on the water. It is a beautiful setting watching the sunset at the marina and the boats coming and going. Service was a bit slow but as to be expected with staffing shortages. The lobster bisque was worth the wait as well as the dinner entrees. Definitely give it a try as well as one of the seafood dinners they have on the menu!

Try the Cape Cod Reuben. Nice big piece of fish and just the right amount of slaw. (Slaw is a weird word. It sounds like the stuff you scrape off the bottom of your shoe, but, its delicious). The view of Hyannis Marina could not be prettier and the prices are super reasonable.

Service was fine and the food was just fine too. Had the seafood platter and my husband has the whole clam plate.

Good drink and comfort food before getting in boat to Nantucket.

My family and I ate here on the first night of our Cape vacation. My mother uses a rolling walker and the deck was accessible with a ramp for her to use. The service was excellent, as was our food and drinks. We loved seeing all the boats and ferries departing and arriving as we were eating dinner!

The entire staff was so welcoming! Even those that were not our server. My seafood medley was fantastic. Highly recommend as it comes with homemade stuffing. Everyone else in my family is extremely picky, so they had hot dogs and pizza. But all of us loved the atmosphere and the view from the outside area. Not sure why this has only 3.9 stars. I think some are forgetting that everyone is having staffing issues. Yes we had to wait more than usual for a few things but that was made up for in the quality of food and the personalities of the staff.

The food was delicious and served just the right temperature. The only complaint was my daughter's boyfriend thought he was getting steamers when he ordered whole belly claims and they came out fried. The wait staff was great. Thank you Melissa.

We ordered crab cakes, fish & chips, and the seafood platter. The fish & chips and seafood platter were perfectly fried and delicious. The ambience overlooking the dock was excellent, and Susan really took care of us. Highly recommend!

Nice vibe, great view, accommodating staff. Try the white sangria!
