They called and offered assistance with paying my ticket because they saw that I’ve tried to pay and my cc wasn’t going through. I found it so sweet :)

Bob was very helpful. I made a mistake with my license plate number and was one number off in the parking app and received a ticket and he helped me resolve it. Thank you!

Was able to find parking within 15 min on Labor Day weekend. Pay using ParkMobile app. Extend time via app. Not sure what people are complaining about. Didn't get any ticket for 5 hours. Make sure you enter the license plate number and zone number correctly, you should be good.

A large group of us went to eat at Dos Locos. After a few hours of enjoying our time there, we came to two of our cars having tickets on them. I had left out a number when I put in for the metered parking and another individual had the app malfunction that is provided for getting parking spots. We both went the next day bright and early and explained what happened. The individual was quite nice, looked over the tickets and decided to changed them both to one time warnings. The service we got was amazing when it came to resolving the situation. The reason why only three stars is because I should not have been there in the first place to receive this service. We had parking passes in the window for the road and both paid for the metered parking. It just seems rough how much you have to pay for parking in this town for not much to be honest. Some of the shops are cool but it really is just an attempt to get money any way possible for people trying to enjoy the beach. Overall a decent experience but please take the time to read the signs and understand where you are parking. Never assume there is free parking because there is none.

Generally there is ample permit parking in the areas away from downtown. While Rehoboth is free to charge whatever amount the town likes for parking privileges, there is a point at which people weigh the cost and stop returning. At $90/week (plus a $2.50 convenience fee for debit cards), it has exceeded mine. They will have to sell their funnel cakes to someone else.

Unbelievable. I parked on Baltimore Ave to attend a show at the Clear Space Theater. I used the park mobile app, however since I have a new vehicle with a temp plate, it didn't register correctly and I received a $30 ticket after paying $12 to park. When I tried to appeal the ticket online, per the phone instructions, it said I would incur up to a $50 fee for a ticket in appeal. I then called the parking department because that didn't seem right, and was told it was a valid ticket. Moving forward, I will do my best not to support Rehoboth Beach and will advise everyone I know to do the same. This is a horrible way to treat someone trying to support the town.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I loved Rehoboth Beach. But while waiting to check into my hotel, I parked and paid in the metered parking. However, I conducted the criminal offense of parking backwards into my parking space, despite there being no signs or indication that that was not allowed. Only handicapped people have the privilege of doing so, apparently, and only if they print their sheet of paper in just the right way. The rest of us do not. I would have appealed the ticket, but if your appeal gets declined, you get, guess what? A $50 dollar increase to your ticket price, and no further appeal to anyone else. Moreover, why on earth are there so many "Police Cadets" walking around and just watching people?

This City Parking is a Ridiculous money pit! My family and I have been vacationing in Rehoboth for eight years and we always visit the farmers market that goes on on Tuesday. We parked on Grove Street not seeing the no parking signs because there are cars lined up and down the road park to visit the farmers market. After being at the market for maybe 15 minutes we come back to our car and find a $50 parking ticket. We had already paid $80 for a parking pass for the week so that we could park on the roads. Had a sign not been blocked we would’ve never parked On the street but seeing how there are so many other cars parked we assume this was OK. So I of course dispute my ticket on line. Come to find out I get charged $10 for disputing my ticket online. City of Rehoboth, this is a scumbag move. This is not how you treat people who are tourist in your town. A $50 parking ticket is outrageous, and to offer an option to dispute your ticket only to charge somebody to do it is completely out of line. Your parking policies for your city are a joke and You should be ashamed of yourself for preying upon unknowing tourists. Very very ugly. So my advice is this, Expect the city to do everything they can to take advantage of you while you’re visiting them and parking on their streets. Well it’s been quite a few years since my original review, and to hear the this city host Joe Biden on the beach just proves this city is slowly becoming the worst place to visit and to park at.

First time driving to rehoboth to visit the boardwalk. Found a vacant spot and backed-in to it. There were NO signs at all that says that isn't allowed, but I got a $50 ticket fine for it anyway. Checked my parking receipt (attached) and you can see how small they made the font for "Head In Parking Required". Do they think people carefully read their tickets after checking for signs and paying their ticket? This is most definitely a setup and a scam. Do not visit Rehoboth. Who knows what else they fine for. I've already read some reviews here and I'm not even gonna appeal because apparently they charge you extra for appealing. Total scam.

If you want to visit ocean never go here. Lack of signs and permits from owners cause you parking tickets. Don’t waste your time come to Rehoboth beach. There are more nicer beaches around where you can easily park with no fear that you will get a ticket.

Rehoboth Parking Authority sucks! When you punch in Rehoboth Parking, it tells you meter-less Monday. Sure enough I get a ticket. They don’t have it this year, apparently. I will never go in there in season again!!

43 years old never had a single parking ticket. Got 3 in my 1 week visit here. Never came close to running out of time I'm not new to paying for parking. The app they tell you to use doesn't work. I had over an hour left had a ticket on my car. Showed the officer he was just rude, said go to the office. They know about it and don't care. People at this office were nice, the officers are terrible. The guy at the office said people come in all day every day with time still left on the app and a ticket on their car.

We visited Rehoboth on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022. We stopped to get breakfast at Eggs on the way to the beach. Eggs, probably due to COVID, had taken all of their parking spaces and turned it into an outdoor seating area, therefore providing very limited parking. There is a road to the right of the restaurant where we decided to park. As we turned onto the road there was a delivery truck blocking the main entryway. As we were leaving Eggs, a Rehoboth parking guy on a bike was issuing tickets to all of us parked along this road to the tune of $30! He was rude and had no time for our questions. Needless to say this didn't start our day off on a positive note. When I went to pay the fine later in the day at the parking department I ran into a very nice lady at the counter. I told her our situation and that the sign was blocked upon our entry so we didn't know we couldn't park there. However, her counterpart in the parking department was rude and chimed in about there being signs on the other side of the road. This really didn't apply to us because we didn't park on that side of the road. In addition to all of this, Rehoboth now charges over $3 an hour to park to go to the beach. The meter guys were all over any car that had an expired time limit, so beware!! I used to love going to the beach but the rudeness of the personnel in this department along with their lack of willingness to hear our situation left a bad taste in my mouth for future visits. I hope this post helps to prevent someone else from starting their day like ours did.

The parking enforcement here has stooped to new lows. Been going to Rehoboth for 30 years and got 3 tickets in 20 hours. One was withdrawn by the City. One was due to using the Pay App and paying for the spot but using the wrong vehicle but the City indicated it doesn't matter. The last was for taking 2 spots since my front tires were over the line (a car was able to park in front of it without a problem). So the city was properly paid for all spots yet I had to pay an additional $82 in fines. Note the lack of followup response by the city on complaints. Welcome to Rehoboth Beach.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. IF YOU COME HERE. JUST PAY AT THE KIOSK do not get the app. The people who run the parking department are VERY unreasonable. The person at the desk will not let you speak and explain what’s going on. Interruption, after interruption. They let you use the app and it does not work properly then they give you a ticket. You then have to go to the parking department and argue with the man for an hour. Waste of time. Just pay at the kiosk and avoid interaction with these people.
