Hula Sue

Hula Sue is a gem of a shop, not just in Rehoboth, but in general! I live in DC but pretty much exclusively shop at Hula Sue and have been doing so for nearly 10 years. I'm never disappointed.

The owner, Christy, is beyond attentive. She learns about your clothing needs, likes, dislikes, and makes thoughtful suggestions. She also gives you space to shop on your own-- no pushy sales here. Christy will give you a call when something comes in that she thinks you might like, and offers quick shipping.

As far as the clothing is concerned-- the clothes are amazing. Items are set at amazing price points and can suit work, casual, and social needs. I love that everything can be mixed and matched. The accessories are equally wonderful-- great jewelry, handbags, and shoes.

This shop is the best place to shop at the beach and I love being able to support a small business!

Cute clothes, indifferent staff. I shopped on a weekday night. Other shoppers and I were on our own. When I did make a choice, it was balled up and tossed in a bag. "There you go." I guess that could be interpreted as "Thank you, enjoy your purchase." Too bad, because a friend, who lives in Rehoboth suggested the store. Carltons and Sole had friendly, eager and helpful staff.

I have never bought anything here but go in when visiting Rehoboth. The staff is never overly friendly and I do not find the store inviting. They are very limited in sizes too.
