The Mother's Day brunch was fantastic! The buffets were loaded with all the usual brunch suspects. All were delicious, but my plate was full of small portions of everything BEFORE we got to the room where they had a beautiful lay out of different kinds of seafood! All of the food was amazing!
And service was its usual friendly, attentive self. I can't imagine another restaurants in the area having a better Mother's Day brunch! They may have been as good, but not better. So glad we made the choice of The Counting House for Mother's Day. We enjoyed everything immensely!

Anyone who has spent time at the French Laundry usually has some culinary skills. Definitely enjoyed some next level food here as well. The food was cooked perfect with great flavors and its the little details with each dish that elevate the chef in my opinion. Shishito peppers, buffalo meatloaf and mushroom risotto all were great. My only complaint was the larger portion sizes made us too full for dessert. That is a good complaint!

We had a wedding at the Counting House on February 23rd 2019. It was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and fun!. Miguel did a wonderful job coordinating everything. Garth did a great job getting us set up with rooms for some of our guest. The rooms are just lovely!! William Clifton, the chef shucked oysters as well as preparing an amazing meal. It was a perfect wedding!!!

Thank you

The waitress had great timing throughout the meal. The menu had nice options that were not completely usual. The food was obviously cooked with care. We had calamari, dove, venison, and filet mignon. We were sat and served a great meal with nice service. This was one of the nicest dining out meals I have ever had. It was worth the money! 100% Highly recommended for a special meal out.

Had a nice time here. The food was really good I thought. I had the venison dish to try something newer to me. It was quite tasty and served with rice mixed with vegitables. I shared a crab dip w/my friends. It had more crab in it than what you get with most crab meat places and served with pita bread. I had some icecream for desert which was really good too. The restaurant is pretty big inside and has a nice cozy feel to it. Overall I had a nice time there.

The hotel is awesome! It's a nice change from the chain hotels I normally say in. The balcony overlooking the circle is a major plus. I decided to eat in their restaurant. It started out rough... I ordered the blue cheese wedge and they did something to the bacon with vinegar that in my world was just wrong... I ask if I could swap it out and with no complaint or hesitation I quickly got a house salad that was amazing, freash, and really good... Then I ordered the oyster stew... This is the reason I'll be coming back! It had nice chunks of oysters, perfect thickness, and an full flavor. Finally I order some crispy wings and there was nothing unique about them to set them apart, but they were still very good if you're in the mood for Wings. If not for my low carb diet I would have order desert because what I saw others ordering looked really big and really good. My server was very kind, accommodating, and my cup was never empty. I Highly recommended the Brick.

My husband and I had our weddinng At The Counting House and Brick Hotel on 10.20.2018. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The staff was on top of everything. Garth was always there to help and even helped hand out welcome bags to all of our quest as soon as they checked into their room. Kelly helped me from day one. I emailed her very often with many questions and she was so quick to respond and answer everything and give me advice. The owner Miguel was outstanding! He made sure to check in on us, ask if we needed anything and he even delivered lunch to me and my bridesmaids while we were getting ready. Chef Bill makes the most delicious food. Everything came out hot and was plated very well. All of the staff at the counting house did an outstanding job. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and we want to thank them all for helping make sure our day was perfect.

Went there for dinner Tuesday night with my mom, toddler, and friend visiting. The food was great, and our server (April) was really good with my toddler and told us about the ghosts that live in the hotel. Especially recommend the crab cakes!

Two of us had the Ocean City Day Boat Scallop entree which was prepared with rice, green beans and a ginger sauce. But sauce does not do it justice. The entire entree was delicious and we ate every morsel. My husband had the blackened catfish which was served over a bed of rice, beans and tomatoes. It was amazing. Our other friend ordered the crab cakes with two sides. He is from Maryland, and he raved about his dinner as well. If you have not tried the Counting House yet, you must! ps my husband has Celiac and this is the only restaurant he is comfortable eating at. They take very good care of him.

What a an amazing spot! Historical building and feel but very clean and elegantly done on the inside. Staff was friendly and attentive. Bartender Ryan is fantastic if you just want to sit at the bar. I would recommend this place to anyone that will be in the area to stay or even if just passing through.

We stopped in around 230 on a Saturday afternoon when we were visiting the area for a quick getaway. Lovely atmosphere! Greatly enjoyed the music choice, and had good food and service. And a nice local beer (Blues Golden Ale from 16 mile brewing company ) on tap. Soup of the day was a loaded potato (very good). The oyster stew was also excellent. Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries was extremely good, and fiance's oyster poboy and fries met with approval also. I would definitely recommend and return if in the area again.

This place was an amazing place to have our wedding. We had originally booked under The Brick Hotel & Tavern so there was a little bit of panic with the change in ownership but Chef Bill, Migule, and Kelly put our minds at ease and went above and beyond to make our day amazing. The food was so good and Chef Bill made sure we got everything and more to honor our original contract. The whole staff for our wedding was so accommodating and attentive through out the whole evening. Kelly was great to keep all of our events on track and made sure there was nothing we needed to do day of. Our wedding day truly was above and beyond our expectations. Thank you so much to the whole team for making our wedding day one we will never forget.

First time at The Counting House since it was The Brick and the cuisine is phenomenally better. The chef has selected excellent wines paired with fresh quality cuts of seafood and red meat. Would highly recommend!

Very nice spot in town for darn good food and a great looking restaurant. There's light live music a lot which I really love. Best thing though is the crab cakes special which they have on most Mondays. Spectacular.

Amazing food!! We had the Halibut special, crabcakes, jambalaya, deviled egg special of the day and calamari. They were all equally delicious. Can't wait to go back there.

The food here was phenomenal! We had an entire room to ourselves which was accommodating since we were stuck in traffic and we're late for our reservation. Ambiance is awesome and again, that food!! Spectacular!
