The Farm House

The food is pretty good. The sweet tea is always great and the fish was perfectly cooked today. The pork had a wonderful taste but was kind of dry. I'm not usually a fan of buffet mashed potatoes but these were really good. I really like that all the vegetables are seasoned well.
The desserts were ok, not terrible, not great.
We were seated quickly and our server greeted us quickly. We had great service the entire time & we left there fairly miserable because we ate too much!
Overall, it's great. It's a good quality country buffet with great service.

Excellent buffet and starting June 11, back to serve yourself buffet. Friday and Saturday evening it’s $18 but we’ll worth it with fish, shrimp, pork chops and sides and a full salad bar. You can also order steak, burgers, chicken or fish dinners off the menu.

At first glance, I thought it was going to be another average country restaurant. But once you actually eat there? Wow, the food is incredible. This is some of the best southern style food I've ever had. The gator was incredible, the hushpuppies were perfect. The cobbler was pretty unique compared to others and it was very good. Give this place a try, the quality of the food and taste is phenomenal.

My wife and like farmhouse. The food and service are great, however the breakfast has spicy sausage and the gravey a little thin.

You do not have enough stars for the food served!!! 100 stars!!!!! The food was best ever!!! Placed a to go order for supper!!! And now my new favorite restaurant ever!!! Beth was our waitresses and was absolutely the biggest sweetheart EVER!!!! WE WILL BE COMING BACK!!! I will make this trip weekly now!!! Mad props to the owners 💯💯💯💯💯💯🙏🏻🙏🏻💯

Our friends who live in Madisonville took us here and we are glad they did. It is a southern cooking buffet similar to Country Cupboard but they have catfish on the buffet. The food was good especially the chicken and fried pork chops. I liked it but my wife absolutely loved it so we will be back again.

It is never packed but steady business. The food is good. If something is not hot, they will cook more and bring it to you. The server is wonderful!

We enjoy and even prefer eating here if we're sitting down. It's good food and we've never had a bad meal. The staff is friendly and does a good job.
I hate to say it, but we won't get takeout from here again with competition (who isn't cheap) charging way less for more to-go food of comparable quality. A single plate with very little variety and not much food was over $18 for a buffet quality meal. You just can't charge 12.75/lb for wet foods without expecting to run off your customers.
We'll definitely be back, but not for takeout.

Came upon the Farmhouse while traveling. The food on the buffet was homemade, hot and all delicious! If your in the Madisonville area I highly recommend you stop and give it a try.

When you walk into this restaurant for the first time, it feels like a school cafeteria. The table and chairs are outdated and the interior and exterior are in need of a remodel. You are then greeted by a very friendly staff who excel at customer service. I ordered the buffet and while the variety was lacking, compared to others I have been to, the quality was 5 stars plus. The fried fish was some of the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked. After a while, the remodel was a distant thought, it was all about the food and great customer service.

Food is fresh and hot.
It is small because it's all homemade.
If you want all that variety go to Golden Correl which I think is aweful. This is real food and the owner is so nice.

The Farm House is a local favorite that never disappoints. They treat you like family as soon as you walk through the door! The food is always delicious at an affordable price. There's a ton of seating available so even on a busy day, you can usually find room to sit. I highly recommend eating at The Farm House! You won't be disappointed!

Lots of variety on the buffet and the salad bar, the restaurant is clean, and the food is very good. There are gloves available at the buffet. You can also order from the menu if you don't feel like the buffet. The ladies working there are friendly and very nice! Good food and good service what more could you ask for!

Excellent place to eat. Yes, it's a little pricey, but what isn't these days. The service is great and the atmosphere has a lovely small town diner feel.

Love this place. My husband and I go quite often. I love their crab legs, 4 large clusters for the price. Always fresh and delicious. We’ve had their steaks and fish. Never had a bad meal. The owners are awesome people. It’s a family atmosphere. We have gotten there as late as 8:30 and they still wanted to serve us. So please don’t hesitate to stop here for a great meal.
I’ve seen a semi negative post recently. Cathy Robertson, if you would call The Catfish Harbor I know they will make your meal right. Please give them another chance. I feel it will be well worth it.
