After reading all of the negative reviews, I was a little concerned about taking our two foster children here. Let me tell you - right off the bat I was treated so kindly by the office staff. It is overwhelming taking children that have been placed with you to a doctor’s office that has been chosen to you. The receptionist was kind and understanding and made me feel at ease. The nurse was caring and just wonderful with the boys. When Dr. Boxer came in the room, he was just genuine and took all the time that I needed to examine the children and answer all of my questions. He has a great bedside manner and made the office visit a FUN event for everyone. Thank you!

Please don’t take the negative reviews seriously. The office staff has a job to do. So many parents are demanding and think rules aren’t for them. The office has policies and procedures and when some people are asked to abide by them, they get offended. Probably best if they take their attitudes and entitlement elsewhere.

Great doctors I have been bringing my daughter here since she was born and they seen her in the hospital

I have been taking my kids to see Dr. Fox for nearly 4 years now. I always feel comfortable discussing concerns I may have and my kids look forward to their visits with her. We don’t see eye to eye on every single thing but I always feel respected as the parent.

We like our daughters doctor and all the doctors and nurses that helped us. They discovered her eye problem very early so we could help her develop in a normal way, they are flexible and understanding with our child’s needs. *****

This office is full of wonderful, caring doctors! We have been coming here with both of our children for over a year now and have never had any issues. We have seen Dr. Fox, Dr. Luckenbaugh, Dr. Boxer & met a couple of the others as well. It might be hard to get in for new patients but that is because there aren't many options but once you're in, you're golden!

We have nothing but positive things to say and would highly recommend this group. Very responsive and we were also impressed with their concern and follow up with us when my second child needed immediate care at CHOP at 4 days old.

FANTASTIC experience getting my vaccine! Staff worked really well together to make it a super simple and stress-free experience. Kudos to all the support staff at Beacon!

Dr Boxer and the staff are fantastic. They all treat our son great and are very knowledgeable, explain all procedures, and what to expect as new parents.

We have gone to Beacon Pediatrics for 7 years. This is the first time, I have been so disappointed. Dr. Luckenbaugh was running late, ok, I get it. But not to be told anything until one hour after our appointment time was annoying. The appointment went well, we love Dr. Luckenbaugh. However my daughter was to get a flu shot, and after 22 minutes after additionally waitingand being told by 2 people that the flu shot was coming right up, we got up and left. I asked if she was actually gonna get the shot, and it seemed as though no one knew we were even still there. I said that we could wait another 30 second because I had to leave to get my son and Nick was not willing or capable I guess in getting the flu shot ready. What was he doing for 22 minutes while we waited? Not much, I'm sure. To say I'm annoyed and disappointed is an under statement.

Incredibly long wait times and we are often rushed in and out once seen. Prescriptions have been forgotten to be placed, as well. That said, Dr. Luckenbaugh, and I hear Dr. Fox, are wonderful.

While the doctors have been good, my recent experiences with rushed and poorly communicated interactions from other staff have led me to the decision to seek care elsewhere. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend your facility to others who value their time and their children's health.
