Hunter's Bar-B-Q

I had the pulled pork platter with cowboy beans and pigtails. My wife had the pork tenderloin with potato salad and cowboy beans. The meat was tender and delicious, the hot BBQ sauce was really good. The beans are savory. The pigtails were great; they were hot and fresh and well seasoned.

I had brisket w/pigtails & swamp cabbage. He had shoulder slices w/tater salad & bowtie salad. All of it was absolutely delicious. Everybody there very friendly! Will definitely go back!. They open Wed Thurs Fridays 10am-8pm

My wife and I ate at Hunter's today for the first time. The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was so unique and interesting. The brisket and the pulled pork are amazing. The potato salad is almost as good as my wife's.This is the best BBQ I have ever had in Kentucky. It reminded me of Texas.

Very much enjoyed the food. Had the shoulder with some pigtails and some potato salad with some unsweetened tea. Very good, also enjoyed the overall atmosphere. Definitely worth sampling and I will absolutely come again.

Pretty good, but not great BBQ. I enjoyed the pulled pork plate with a side of vinegar slaw and baked beans. The pork was good, but not great. The slaw was really good as was the beans. I spent $12 on lunch, not too bad for the amount of food that you receive. I did really enjoy the ambiance of the place, so many decorations on the wall!

Wanda and Vicky are quite frankly the funniest people I have ever met in my life. They are all so sweet and kind and I can’t believe how good the food was. That Justin feller is quite the cook! The decorations and everything were perfect for the theme and I can’t wait to go back!

The pulled pork was amazing! The cooked cabbage and potatoes was great too until I found bell peppers in it! (I'm allergic) I had no idea they put bell peppers in cabbage! Would definitely got back!

First time costumers. Wonderful food. Loved the Swamp Cabbage and pulled pork. Potato salad was best ever and the pig tails were amazing!! Highly recommended…. Next time I go I’m gonna try the ribs.

There are many gems in Albany, KY, but Hunter’s is in a league of its own. The best BBQ I’ve had in Kentucky or Tennessee, the friendliest people you’d ever hope to meet, and homemade bbq sauce that dispenses from 5 gal buckets!

Bring cash, because they don’t accept cards!

Wow, great place for the taste and feel for BBQ! Don't serve beer yet to go with it but the food is top self and good portions. Check them out for sure.
