The Avenue Inn & Spa

We stopped last week for an overnight stay and we had a five star experience. The price was very reasonable. The staff was very nice and polite. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed extremely comfortable and it was very quite. They have delicious homemade chocolate cookies and the hot and cold breakfast buffet was delicious with some homemade cooked sausage onions and peppers. The restaurant in the hotel is delicious as well. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about this place. We stayed there a few years ago and loved it. We were hoping to return this weekend, but had to cancel due to my mother being in the last stages of cancer. I spoke to Randy, and they were so sweet and kind. They showed genuine concern and was definitely a bright light in the midst of what is a pretty awful situation. We will be back, and The Avenue is really the only place I will consider staying at in Rehoboth. Thank you. I appreciate your kindness.

My boyfriend booked us a room here for Valentines day/his birthday for two nights and we had an amazing stay. The hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating. When we first checked in, i mentioned that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they sent up some champagne! The continental breakfast was actually pretty good compared to other hotels. We missed out on the nightly milk and cookies and wine social because we kept forgetting but we thought it was so cool that there were so many amenities included. The indoor pool and sauna was so nice but the in-room Jacuzzi was the best! The location was pretty good as well as it is only a block away from the boardwalk. Everything was just a short walk away. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends! Thank you!

We had a great time here! Would definitely recommend. We stayed here off- season so we were lucky to get the whole pool/ hot tub area for ourselves too on a Saturday afternoon. Quite a luxury! The rooms were beautiful, as well as the lobby. Breakfast very tasty.

We’ve stayed here many times over the years. Love the clean rooms, breakfast, the pool and hot tub, the wine and cheese hour, the cookies! . Rehoboth Beach was a quick, awesome few days getaway for us and this hotel is in the perfect location. Loved the area so much we bought a house and are retiring to Delaware. We always recommend this hotel to friends who also want to check out the area. I miss not staying there, and look up fondly at the Inn as we walk by when visiting the boardwalk.

Comfortable, clean room in great location. Outdoor seating with gas fire pit and bar service was fun. Hot tub and indoor pool are nice. Very friendly staff! Only negative was the coffee was not hot either day and the continental breakfast was less than average.

We can’t say enough nice things about the avenue in and spa. We came here for anniversary and they made us feel so special. Michael at the front desk was wonderful and super accommodating. The room was perfect and you can’t beat the location. Can’t wait to come back again!

My favorite place to stay b in Rehoboth for over 10 years now. Prefect location on Rehoboth Ave.. indoor pool and hot tub for off-season enjoyment. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are well appointed and on-site restaurant and spa help close any gaps 😄 if you wanna just stay put. Highly recommend. Oh forgot to mention fabulous complimentary breakfast.

I stayed at the Avenue 2. We still had access to all the amenities of the Avenue. The hotel lobby and common areas are all decorated for Christmas, and I now feel in the Christmas spirit. Breakfast was amazing; not the normal hotel breakfast they had the usual items along with extra special additions

My Wife and I needed a room in Rehoboth Beach and unfortunately had to wait till the last moment to book it. Not knowing any of the properties in town, I took a shot with the Avenue Inn. Talk about a lucky shot! No, it doesn't have any great views but it's got everything else. Nicely decorated and thoughtfully laid out. The rooms are very nice and very clean! They really have everything you need and probably everything you want! Really a luxury resort feel to it if I'm being honest. But no matter how nice a hotel is, it really comes down to the people who run it to make you welcome and comfortable. Again, the Avenue Inn doesn't disappoint. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and engaging and as usual, there's one that REALLY makes an impression. Randi, one of the front desk staff was that person for us. If she isn't a stand-up comedian, she should be. Her lightning wit and perfect amount of sarcasm were so engaging and fun. She literally had everyone in the lobby laughing. She told me I'd be mad that we were only staying one night and you know? She was 100% correct!

It's one of the best hotels I've stayed in! The service is quick, friendly and professional. The location is only a block or so from the beach. The rooms have plenty of space. There were 4 in our room, we were able to stretch out quite a bit. We're surrounded by stores, restaurants, whatever you might need or want. The amenities are above and beyond, wine and cheeses, cookies and milk, adult only hours in the pool and hot breakfast each day. It's the only place I want to stay when we come to Rehoboth!

Awesome place to stay. Do so much for their guests. Breakfasts we're awesome! They have wine and cheese hour and cookie time. They write on a board in the lobby telling guests what's going on around town for whatever day it is

Loved the amenities. They don't skimp on breakfast either a nice variety was offered. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really felt welcomed. I'd gladly stay here again. Oh, and thank you for the little shuttle cart to the beach, the driver was nice and played my favorite oldies on his radio! Offering towels and chairs for the beach was a great touch too!

I went to the Avenue Apothecary and Spa, which is in the hotel, so I can't say anything about the rooms or other hotel accommodations. I have been here before--this time I was shopping for a birthday gift for a friend and had so much fun deciding what to get for her. Jess was very helpful and suggested some great things to include in my gift. Services are top notch, too. I highly recommend this little gem, and happily go out of my way to come here from Ocean City.

I love this hotel!! We have stayed here twice already and it is so perfect. It is so clean, and they provide a shuttle to the beach (even though it is not a very far walk anyway). They provide a free warm breakfast, along with wine and cheese every day from 5-6. They also have free want cookies at 8 pm every night. Their indoor pool is clean, along with their hot tub. The housekeeping service was excellent and kind. We will always stay at this hotel for each beach trip to rehobeth. We were there this past week and stayed in a suite with our 3 kids and had no problems at all:)

We had a delightful stay at The Avenue Inn. It's the best hotel experience we had for a long time. It seems like the place is focused on creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for its guests rather than just on making money. We lived in an annex to the hotel, where the rooms were cheaper. The hotel staff made sure to warn us (by calling us up after we booked the room) that the next-door bar could be noisy at night. That turned out not to be a problem at all, though. We enjoyed the complementary varied breakfast, the cheese and wine and the cookies in the evening. The game room is really nice and bright. We spent some hours there having fun with the games. A big 5+ from us (only improvement point is to switch to non-disposable cups, plates and cutlery. But that wish goes for most places in this country).

This is the best hotel in Delaware and there is no competition.

Top-notch from the moment you walk in the front door, to the moment you realize you can walk to everything…and you are at the center of it all.

There is absolutely no need to get back in your car from the moment you arrive.

You will remember your stay here and you will most certainly come back :).

The GM and staff are always present and working hard toward providing you the best possible experience at the DE shore.

We had a lovely off season stay at the Avenue Inn. Clean rooms and facilities and you can't beat all the amenities such as free breakfast, free wine and cheese, and nightly cookies. The pool area was lovely as well. We were lucky to have a warm day to go to the beach and they provided chairs and towels which was very convenient. The location is great, a block from the beach and in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Parking was also included but sometimes hard to find. Overall a great hotel!

We only stayed a night at this hotel but had a lovely experience. The hotel is right on the main road of restaurants and shops, it is also very close to the beach. We took advantage of the pool, sauna, and hot tub. We also loved the complimentary cheese and wine, as well as warm milk and cookies. Breakfast had a variety of options and was good overall.
