Great village market! They have a full grocery as well as an excellent liquor selection!

A nice, clean, and well supplied grocery store. It's open till the midnight. I liked the coffee bar and a few tables available for hungry shoppers to consume in place.

Independent grocers like this are the best. Friendly service. Very well stocked, clean, nicely laid out store. Full deli and cafe counter inside as well.

I've been coming here for a long time. If you need help they have excellent customer service. I often get help from Tina, who gets to know the community so well she'll tell you what you forgot. Customer service comes from the heart and can't be taught. Their liquor section is the biggest in town.

I absolutely love this store! They have the best quality, selection, and prices on their meats. Thier produce is always very fresh and my family and I Love their baked goods. The staff there is also very helpful and friendly, you never have to go hunting for help and feel like a bother like in the big box stores. It's nice to shop somewhere with a friendly small town feel.

My wife and I stopped in as we passed through on Labor Day. The cashiers were genuinely helpful, smiling, and personable. When I asked for help, somebody always responded willingly. We were not a bother. In fact, one man, from the meat department stopped to help us find a particular beer while on his lunch break. He said he had the time. How nice! We were thoroughly impressed with this store and the people who made it successful. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Very cool, small town feel grocery store. It sbeen around sense the 20's so they know what their doing by now. Always people ready to scan your groceries. No waits at all. They also had a lot of vegan options which is awesome!

Gas, groceries, helpful staff, and also an RV dump station. Everything we needed at this friendly local business.

First time customer and I have to say I was pretty impressed, very nice selection, especially the liquor/beer department. I purchased cheese and sushi and both were very good. Will definitely stop when I'm in the area again.

Great deli, meat department, produce. I especially like that it had most everything yet is small enough to get what you need and go. Check out is quick without much wait time. Staff is friendly, courteous, and respectful!

Great friendly staff! Large selection of craft beers available as well a liquor department. Grandma's Potato Salad from the Deli is the best. Great fresh cut meat department as well.

Great smaller scale grocery, liquor, deli, and meat department, plus gas station! It is my preferred grocery shopping store. I know where things are, trust the products, meats are great quality, staff is always helpful. Easy in and out. Recommend highly.

Excellent! Possibly the best craft beer selection I've seen - even rivals liquor stores. Bottles, cans, and singles available. Lots of midwest beers and ciders. Rest of store very nice as well!

Great "grocery" store, but so much more tucked away inside.

There is a gas station, car wash, bait shop, full bakery (it always smells like doughnuts when you first enter) Milios Sandwiches, expansive Deli with hot and cold items, a huge liquor section, and your standard grocery items as well.

My favorite is the pick 6 beer selection. Most of the beer (awesome selection of local WI beer and from around the US and beyond) is available to make your own 6 pack. The price various from $2/bottle up to $4-5/bottle depending on the beer, and you receive a discount for selecting 6 beers.

Great place, they have little bit of everything. Surprising amount of stuff in a small space. Great Booze selection. They have non-ethanol premium.
Others have complained of price. I believe in supporting local business.
The money spent here pretty much stays in the area. Others have said they felt Walmart was cheaper. Just going thru Walmart chkout takes longer than my whole time shopping at Pierce! Plus the money you spend at Walmart doesn't stay in Baraboo. Some goes to Arkansas to a family that really doesn't need any more. Many are not aware you are supporting
Walmart even if you never buy anything there. That's enough ranting.
Back to Pierce, yeah the car wash sometimes is quirky, but the donuts are awesome! I shop there several times a week. Please re-stock Vienna Beef Hotdogs!

Great customer service, huge craft beer selection, hot deli food is bland, but that is how many locals enjoy their food. There is almost always a good sale on steaks in the meat department and a good sale on sliced deli meats and cheeses. Store is always clean and easy to navigate if you are in a hurry, they always have plenty of check out lines open.
I shop at woodmans, costco, aldis, trader Joes etc, but often end up going to fresh express for my daily meal prep

I despise going to Walmart. It's one of my least-favorite things to do. The wife and I try to do a huge haul there once every six weeks if we can get away with it. And that's where Pierce's (Viking!) comes in. It's the perfect blend of selection and convenience, and while the prices are mostly higher than Walmart, the trade off for not having to walk half a mile and then wait in a check out line for twenty minutes is more than worth it. Plus, I can buy miniature bottles of vodka and a coffee at 8:00am and no one says anything like "Hey, what are you doing?" or "Are you sure about this?"

I just have to say, everytime i go to viking, i am glad i did. Today, i asked the butcher to cut me some t bones to grilling size, with out hesitation he was on it, polite, and efficient. His name was cory.
