One stop shop for all animal needs, whether it be house pet, livestock, or wildlife. Huge selection of birdhouses. My girlfriend has been going here for years to get our chicken feed and products. Good prices, helpful staff.

I purchased our 20 chick's from River Feeds back in early April (2021)as well as the starter kits and feed. This is my first attempt at raising chickens btw. My happy little hens are now almost 8 weeks old and are growing more beautiful everyday. I buy the Purina Organic chick feed from River Feeds and my girls love it. It has more crumbles and consistency than the organic chick food we tried from Fleet Farm. They didn't like that stuff and it was very powdery, not crumbly. The gals at River Feeds have been so helpful from helping me order my chick's to giving me advice on what to do at what intervals in raising them. I'm so grateful for them! I was recommended by many locals to go there to get my chick's instead of a big store like Tractor Supply and I'm so glad I did. Be loyal, buy local! ...and patronize your small mom n pop shops first!

Friendly, knowledgable, and always helpful, River feeds has it all. The range of feed and supplies as well as their experience has been a constant help for us over the years. Easily the best feed store I have been to, and also the best people.

I finally had the opportunity to swing by this local feed store. I was promptly greeted by some happy critters and a friendly lady. I was surprised that they are more than just feed store: turf grass seed, lawn fertilizer, bird seed, dog food and chicks! I chatted with Pat (whom I assume to be the owner)...nice guy and knowledgeable of the products they sell! I plan to return. Not only are they local, but much of what they sell is WI and MN based, too.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The store has a good selection, and when I told the employee what I was looking for she walked around the store with a cart and gathered it for me!
