We love Tempest! It feels like a secret in Appleton that people don’t know about. It’s an escape in its location down on the river.

Their team is all so friendly and accommodating, the vibe is cool, and we’ve always enjoyed our beverages and food.

Great coffee shop with beautiful views. It was busy but service was quick. The breakfast sandwiches are great, along with the smoothies and tea. Grab your drink and take a stroll along the river

Great place to get excellent coffee, food and a nice view. It’s a bit confusing trying to locate it for the first time, but once you’re sipping on their coffee, you’ll find that it’s worth it. Yes - it’s facing the water and located below and within the apartment complex.

I ordered my usual go to - iced caramel latte. I knew going in that their sister company is Lawless, so I already had high expectations that were quickly lived up. They did a great job and the flavor was as I had hoped for. I also ordered the Green Shakshuka. I’m a huge tomatillo fan so when I say this, I mean this in the best way possible… it was really good, but it needed more of a base substance. I’ve reached the age where I need to carry tums on me for my heartburn for most meals. I ended up eating the egg, the pita bread and some of the tomatillo, but had to take the leftovers home to place it on top of some rice for dinner.

Everyone I was with enjoyed their meals as well. The service was friendly and I look forward to trying more items on their menu.

Cute little coffee place on the river. Great walking trail along the river and to a park. I got a B.L.A.T, which was mouth watering good. Green tea was yummy with honey. Great place to chill.

I loved the atmosphere at Tempest. It has a lot of windows making it bright and inviting. It is comfortable with different types of seating from a couch, to tables and chairs, to high top seating at the counter. I had the Sap Sugar Latte. It had a unique flavor that i enjoyed.

Stunning location on the Fox River, plenty of seating indoor and out, delicious coffee, incredible looking food & drink menu! Moving to the area and super excited to return again & again.

This coffee shop has amazing food and coffee. I love coming here for their massive patio right next to the river. Wonderful atmosphere with a nice friendly staff.

A must go to if you are in Appleton and have time to kill. Sit back with a cup of coffee and enjoy the scenery!

Tempest is my favorite coffee house in Appleton. Their coffee, breakfast, and bakery are amazing. Their staff, especially Sydney, are always wonderful. Even when there is a rush our orders always come out correctly and delicious. Their patio is dog friendly and it’s so nice to be able to get breakfast and then walk the fox river trail with our dog.

Before leaving for Door county we were looking for a place to get good breakfast & sit down to have coffee and Tempest is best place we had!! Nice place on riverfront with nice people!!

I highly recommend for breakfast. Right on the river. We had the lox and the avocado toast. Both excellent. My son liked his iced macadamia coffee.

Very cute cafe but usually very busy. The latte art is amazing and the lavender lattes are the best🙌 sometimes it's impossible to find seats which is the only down side.

This place is ABSOLUTELY amazing. All dishes are elegantly displayed to add a warming touch. ALL dishes (other than to-go) are glass and metal saving waste from entering the land fills. It is cute, inviting and cozy.

Great spot on the riverfront. Fyi: it's noisy inside! I don't see any soundproofing in this concrete box.

The food is always excellent and very tasty. The options are limited, but have vegetarian and vegan menu choices. The patio is great in the warmer months and the inside has cozy and traditional seating. They have treats for animals for purchase and allow pets on the patio as well. Great place for food and a casual coffee.

Delicious food and drink offerings and gorgeous location. Right on the river, Tempest Coffee Collective offers the best views of Appleton. I appreciate the menu is short and sweet with only the best options. Pictured is the seasonal Lumberjack Latte, Sage and tonic espresso, and breakfast biscuits. I have zero complaints and always offer up Tempest as my brunch suggestions to friends and visitors.

Excellent coffee shop, off the beaten path, down by the river (but not in a van).

Barista was extremely knowledgeable and patient, answering the many questions I had about their broad selection of house formulated espresso drinks. Nearly all of their syrups are made in house and they are happy to customize it however you want. Sadly I've had too many coffees since I visited and can't remember what I had exactly but I remember it being quite good and novel.

Interior decor is very clean and modem. Lots of natural light and fun chairs/stools/etc. They have a small kids play area like a living room and an outdoor patio that looked inviting.

Bring your reusable mug, get your coffee to go and enjoy the trail along the river and the informative signs that talk about the nearby small hydro power station

Came through town for one night and stayed at hotel close by and decided to try for breakfast. Wonderful. Coffee was the salted Carmel latte and the breakfast was amazing.
