Absolutely phenomenal restaurant! I have been to Tine & Cellar on numerous occasions, and every time has been delightful. The staff here are wonderful, and the service is great. Everything from their appetizers to desserts are not only delicious, but also beautifully plated. The atmosphere is nice, and the restaurant itself is very clean and well-organized. Tine & Cellar is truly a must for anyone who is in or visiting Wausau!

If you’re in the area, this place should
be a go-to! Starting off, the place itself is great! Nice furnishings, open, clean, and overall very inviting! Our service was great, with everyone being super helpful/kind. The food was great too! Personally, LOVE the truffle fries!

Our group of 9 dined on a Saturday evening to celebrate a 40th anniversary. We were greeted warmly & the staff were accommodating & friendly. Our server, Phil, was especially excellent. He was patient, knew the menu well, & had a positive attitude which greatly added to our experience. The food was exceptional, and while I did not order a drink, I was told by others in our group they were delicious. I would highly recommend the truffle fries, it is nearly impossible to limit yourself to one serving. 5 well deserved stars 👏🏻

Tine & Cellar is an upscale eatery, but it's one that's easy on the wallet. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet open and airy. Our party of four arrived around noon on a Sunday, and we were immediately seated. The brunch menu being served included mimosas and bloody marys. We enjoyed breakfast entrees, but the star of the show was the truffle fries. They were crispy coated with Parmesan and drizzled with a truffle aioli. The portion size could easily feed two to four people. Can't wait to get them again some tine soon. See what I did there?

For what Tine & Cellar aims (and claims) to be, I think they have earned their five stars. Put this restaurant in Brooklyn and they would do stellar, but in Wausau, next to a strip malls worth of cheap eats and hair cuts, it feels a bit over priced - but traffic says many people don't mind, so I'll continue this review not speaking from my current income bracket. The atmosphere is upbeat but calm and with enough sophistication to promise an enjoyable experience for various diners: dates or families, friends or even solo, you'd be comfortable here. We interacted with just one server after seating and they were excellent, good people skills and knew just how much to interact. Service was quick and accurate. While I found drinks small, I don't typically order drinks out. They were much enjoyed by my fellow diners. Truffle fries were light on truffle which I prefer, and crispy. Dinner options are limited but varied enough. We had three different plates which were all well enjoyed, with little leftover. If you are looking for massive plates with take home at a steal, try the chains nearby, but if you are looking to enjoy some elevated dining and relax a bit, Tine & Cellar should be on your list.

My boyfriend and I went to Tine and Cellar on Valentine’s Day and had the best experience. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was top notch. Shoutout to Chris behind the bar and the servers, Jenna & Kylie. They made our experience so special and always had a smile on their face. We even let Kylie surprise us with her choice of an appetizer and it was amazing! The cocktails and dessert were also phenomenal. We will definitely be back.

Food is always exceptionally delicious here. Carly was fun, attentive, and refreshing. Stopped to ask the bartender about "white whiskey" from the drinks menu. He explained it eloquently and even poured a small taste for my husband and myself. Wausau has many fine eating establishments. We are very fortunate to be "foodies" in a town of the same bent. Tine and Cellar is consistently a winning choice on all levels.

Dined at Tine & Cellar for the first time. The decor is really lovely. Eric, our server, thoroughly explained the menu and gave valuable suggestions when asked. My Jagerschnitzel was amazing, and my daughter's Steak Frites tender and seasoned perfectly! The fries...OMG! Crispy and seasoned ...Best ever! You have to check out this place!!

Stopped by for lunch on a drive from Oshkosh. Wonderful service. Elevated/elegant menu compared to a lot of pubs available in the area. We had the fish cake salad and Ruben. Both were great. Stopped again for lunch and were once again impressed by both the food and the service.

My husband and I were visiting the area this weekend, and decided to head out for a good brunch with a great Bloody Mary. Well, this place delivered more than we expected. It started with our server Mary. She was great, full of information and very kind. The interior design is elegant, yet welcoming. We started with the Bloody Mary. FANTASTIC! They infuse the vodka with dill and black pepper, and it was refreshing. The food that followed was out of this world! The Farmers Cheese crepes were a delicious blend of sweet and savory, and the crepes were perfectly cooked with slightly caramelized edges. The Pastrami hashes lightly pickled onions added just the right hint of sweet to balance out this delectable savory dish. To top off the meal, Issac F, the cicerone provided the perfect beer samples based on my husband's palate to help him choose a dessert beer.
Thank you for a fabulous brunch.

Also we ordered the fish dip, wow!! Delicious and beautiful on a charcuterie board, with Smoky capers on top.

Wow, wow, wow. This place is amazing! When you walk in the front door you're greeted by friendly, welcoming and trendy design followed by a warm welcome from the host/ hostess. This restaurant follows suit with the trendy and welcoming design throughout with open walls that bring the outside in, black and grey decor that is perfectly accented with warm color accents. Seating is offered upstairs, downstairs and outside. We tried the patio first and found the seating rather uncomfortable 😞so we moved inside. Because I am a tad mature-er than some my personal opinion is that the restaurant is too loud, but perhaps that's because I was on the road all day and just wanted a more relaxing environment. This one is lively!!

The service was excellent. Our wait staff provided excellent suggestions and was very friendly and attentive.

Now, the food... Yeah... Everything was perfectly prepped, cooked and paired. We started with a fish based appetizer which included roe, cold smoked salmon, whitefish dip, and pickled herring. I LOVED EVERYTHING. The lamb shank was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The hubby had the chicken fried pork steak and that was amazingful. We finished with the lavender creme brulee. Now here is where I have to say they have a tiny bit of room for improvement. The shell didn't provide that perfect crack and the creme could have been a tad thicker but the flavor was absolutely on- point. If I lived here, I would definitely add this place to my list of date-night places.

If I could give 10 stars for excellent service I would give them to Morgan. She was fabulous. Friendly, knowledgeable, went above and beyond. In the era of post COVID where you need to be happy if you get a server with a pulse it was refreshing to have such great service. The atmosphere is so fun, funky and eclectic. The food was delicious. Morgan made great suggestions to accommodate my GF and DF needs. What a great find on our ski adventure to Granite Peak.

I absolutely love Tine and Cellar! Their drink menu and food are never disappointing. The cheese curds are a top recommendation and their signature cocktails are so worth it.

Maigan was a wonderful waitress - her descriptions of the foods and her recommendations were spot on. She very obviously had eaten all of the foods she described, considered our personal preferences, and made the perfect recommendations for our appetizers, main course, and desert 😁. Every - single - dish - was photo quality presentation - so impressive - hats off to the chef!! Oh and one more thing - get the cheese curds...

Great atmosphere and great food. Very good signature cocktails. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and the variety of beverages and made very good recommendations. Would definitely go there again when in the area.

We've had the absolute pleasure of dining at Tine & Cellar since they first opened in our Weston neighborhood. The stellar food, five-star service and beautiful industrial vibe keep us coming back! Today, we stopped for lunch. My husband had the southern pulled pork (house smoked & pulled pork butt on a soft brioche bun with spicy Carolina BBQ sauce), I had the pesto linguini (pesto linguini with blistered tomatoes, red onion and local mushrooms), and we shared a slice of the bourbon caramel pecan cheesecake (house-made vanilla bean cheesecake, topped with bourbon caramel, candied pecans, and house whipped cream). Seriously, every single bite was delicious as always! It is, and always will be, our favorite place to eat in Wausau. ♥

Don't listen to the negative reviews. I've been here multiple times now and every time has been fantastic. The service was great, drinks incredible, and the food was tip notch. I had the Tuna and would recommend asking for the spiced apple sauce with it. Absolutely incredible. For anyone hesitant on coming here, don't. Go and have a great meal, with fantastic drinks in a wonderful atmosphere.

Jared was one heck of a Bartender! It was amazing to watch the art they create with cocktails. (AND THEY ARE DELICIOUS) The food was out of this world (we had the smoked fish dip, the blue cheese crustini, and the truffle fries) I can't wait to visit again. I think this is hands down my new favorite restaurant.

Food was good. The pork was a little cold for my taste (I like very hot food). The decoration is nice and staff friendly. They have outdoor sitting.
