Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wausau

If you are going to ski at Granite Peak and you don't live in the area this hotel gets the job done for the money! The rooms were clean and the service what great. The breakfast wasn't amazing but also it was free and there were plenty of restaurants a short walk away including a Starbucks. We got the Jacuzzi tub suite it was amazing after a long day in the cold. Based on the other hotels in the area and the reviews I read I would stay here again it's the best bang for your buck!

This is a great place to stay ! My boyfriend and I are truck drivers , when we ask for home time we always stay here at the Days Inn . Prices are great , always nice n clean .. Along with laundry , pool, hot tub ! Very friendly people work here, especially Jan, who works at the front desk... Ask for her, she's a joyful lady 🌹 Tell her Lucy sent you .... Can't go wrong here 🤗

The rooms here are SUPER clean...even the bathroom corners!!! The only reason I gave a 3 for service is when our key refused to work the 2nd night when we returned from dinner out and my husband had to go down to the front desk two times before they could fix our key so we could get back in our room. Meanwhile I am standing outside the door holding two melting hot fudge sundaes. Also, when the lady went to refill the bagels immediately after handling money at the front desk...she NEVER put on gloves and just took them out of the rapper and put them in the tray. Icky!!!

The front desk was extremely helpful and later on when I went to dinner she displayed my first name as a welcome our gold member to Wyndham. And the desk lady the next morning was super nice and when we had to check out but had nowhere to go until noon, she chatted with us and we sat in the lobby and watched tv. Very pleasant

Service was good. Room was good. The bed was ok. Location was difficult to enter depending on your direction.

We used the ada room and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was nice and very friendly staff

Decided to stay here this week.. Was a good decision! very nice hotel very clean nice staff, good breakfast options, coffee was good Great location though right off the highway plenty of restaurants within walking distance pool and hot tub were under maintenance but looked nice! Nice big room with a very nice TV bed was comfy pillows were really nice I found my new hotel for the Wausau area!

Quiet, clean, and friendly. The only down fall is the water. The water in that town is brown and we paid for a hot tub room what we could not use because the brown water. No fault of the hotel except they could have told us. The pool was nice and made up for it but we could have saved money staying in a regular room.

This is turning into one of our favorite places. We have been here 3 or 4 times and it has been good each time. We like the location (behind Texas Road House) and the rooms are a good fit for our requirements.

Stayed for 6 nights. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and was so welcoming. Wendy was at the front desk the first day we arrived and she was so nice and helpful and she will forever be remembered by me. Just an all around amazing woman. THANKS AGAIN WENDY AND STAFF!!

This is a great location that is very close to Granite Peak for skiing. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There are great options for dining close by. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay there again.

I chose this hotel based on good reviews, so I feel obligated to leave a good review. This facility is very clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We had left the dome light on in our vehicle and arose to a dead battery. With the help of the lady at the front desk and a housekeeper we were able to get a jumpstart and be on our way as if our blunder never occurred. Excellent lodging experience.A++

So I check the air filters In every hotel I stay at and this was one of the few that it was clean. The rest of the room was as well but the power was out on the right side of the bed. A little odd I'll be letting the desk know so hopefully they will fix it.

Nice place to rest. Close to restaurants and shopping. Beds were comfortable. Shower worked great. Continental breakfast just had a few items but was very good. I would stay again

Seriously one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Surprisingly, a Days In, I found my room updated, smell-free, comfy and affordable. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in town. The breakfast was adequate with a nice dining area and options.

Clean rooms, at a reasonable price, but im giving it 5 start for the exceptional staff service. The girl working the front desk was very personable and accommodating, helped us with all of our needs, and you can't put a price on that.

Nice clean, and not to mention cheap place. Area seemed really clean and a good spot around town. Close to lots of restaurants and freeway access. Front desk people were kind and homey. Would stay here again if it comes into question where to stay in Wausau.

Comfortable rooms, low rates, clean. My wife left her bikini there while on our way 1500 miles in the other direction. Staff notified us they would hold it until our return in 4 weeks. Amazing job!
