This is a very nice location.
There was "one problem," resolved after I spoke to the Staff about it; the Swimming Pool+ Hot Tub was "non-functional" (unfortunate for me, re "sore muscles" after snow-skiing at Granite Peak nearby) due to a "pH" problem linked to "too little 'Chlorine'," in the "tub"/"pool" on the "check-in" day (plus day #2). The third night I was "too tired" to enter the "Hot Tub" (functional on day three; I forgot to check it). Oops! One more, the "coffee creamer" was "out" (however there were "individual creamers" available).
Otherwise I slept very well!
I greatly enjoyed the "quietness"/"cleanliness" (plus "continental breakfast," yet also with "scrambled eggs, sausage links plus diced potatoes!"; a distinct positive!) of the location!

Excellent budget experience. While it lacked some of the bells and whistles of a nicer chain hotel, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and staff helpful. i was tickled to see they had both fat overstuffed pillows as well as flatter and firmer pillows. The location wasn't picturesque, but it was convenient. If you're in a budget but want assurance that you'll get a nice nights sleep, don't hesitate to book here.

To start, the place is very clean, considering it's a very sloppy and cold winter this year. The owner/s are, "VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL"!!! The employee's are also very courteous and respectful. They treat you like a 5🌟 guest, with a warm welcoming from the minute you walk through the doors, until the minute you are ready to check out. Up to this point, I want to say thank you to the owner/s AND, to the professional and courteous staff, for making our stay a VERY pleasant, and enjoyable one.

Room was clean, staff was kind. Only downside is we were by the main entrance so cigarette smoke smell was getting into our room. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay

This past weekend we were camping and were unfortunately caught in the storms that passed they the area. Our campground was devastated and we were unable to stay there as tents and campers were destroyed and trees were down everywhere making it very unsafe.
Not only did the staff help us out by finding us rooms, but they were very friendly and kind. They offered us a very discounted rate due to the fact that we were displaced....and we didn’t share that information. They made sure to ask us when we called. They also provided toothpaste and toothbrushes as we had to leave things behind when we left. They were very helpful in providing us information on where to get anything we needed as well.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

It's in a quiet neighborhood, and not far from downtown Wausau, Granite Peak ski area, and a state park. Rooms were well kept and the ambience is good, especially of the main lobby.

Hotel as usual nice pool and hot tub l. The morning lady at the desk and for breakfast was a little rude but seemed to be more overwhelmed than anything.

Great place to stay, the staff was friendly and helpful, the pool was well kept. The bowling alley behind the hotel was a great amenity.
