What a great meal. Everything from the salsa and chips to the main entrees was excellent. Not only was the food top notch but the place was immaculately clean. A great experience.

My all time FAVORITE place to eat!! The food is amazing, drinks always ice cold, the price is right, the service is always wonderful & we always leave stuffed & still have enough left overs for lunch the next day!!! LOVE FREDDY's always worth the short trip from Wausau :)

Very friendly staff and always consistent food. When we know we want a good meal, fast service and small talk at the bar we always choose Freddy’s! The prices are reasonable. The mini-chimi is delicious and enough for 2 meals! My favorite is the frozen drinks that are made just as fast as grabbing a cold beer out of the cooler!

Freddy’s has been in our usual dining out rotation for years and we are never disappointed. Jim, Pat and their staff are always welcoming and friendly and the food never lets us down. I’ve tried several dishes on the menu and occasionally a special. I’ve never had a bad meal. And if you haven’t tried one of Pat’s desserts, do yourself a favor and try a piece of pie. The chocolate peanut butter pie is my personal favorite. Don’t forget to try a margarita on the rocks also.

Sat at the bar for a cocktail before dinner. Friendly bartenders and they took our dinner order while sitting there. They let us know our food was ready and everything was on the table when we got to it. Wait staff checked back with us several times to make sure everything was OK and if we needed anything. Food was good and service excellent. Will definitely go back there.

Gorgeous place, friendly staff, and they have a machine you can win rubber ducks on! Didn't get to play the slots but the chimichanga with shredded beef was killer! Don't bother with the BBQ pork.. it's alright but that chimi was amazing!

While on our annual summer 2022 vacation, ate here with my family, and the food was delicious! I ordered the steak and gorgonzola salad: the steak was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the gorgonzola was very creamy. My wife's fish taco platter was also very flavorful and cooked to perfection. When you go, plan on ordering dessert: the homemade cheesecakes and lemon-blueberry pie are sublime!!!

Freddys is worth the drive, they have amazing serve food and drinks. There staff are extremely friendly and the owners will always come over and talk with you. They are a small business but a large hearted one, not to mention there Mexican food is amazing!!! I would record this place to any of all ages and they do have a back room that is always festive to the Season which is always worth smiling for 5 out 5 would recommend!

Stopped tonight on our way home from hunting. Heard it a good place to eat. I was amazed at the amount of food each serving was and the drinks were very good. Customer service was awesome. I highly recommend trying it out

Lived in the area for years and had never stopped and tried Freddy's. Till one day we were sick of the same old and thought we'd give it a try. Oh my, was my family missing out on a gem. Food was excellent, portions were amazing, and the staff (I think owners?) Were exceptional. I definitely would go back, and if you haven't tried Freddy's your missing out.

Awesome ! The service, the food, the atmosphere stellar! The price and portion size was very good, but the best HAD TO BE THE SALSA! I have eaten at every Mexican restaurant in the Wausau area and you will not be disappointed here! As and added bonus they offer "and more" so for everyone in your group, there is options if they don't partake in the Mexican cuisine.

A+....very good food and drinks my wife's favorite place to eat. I see the comments regarding service. We have frequented this restaurant for years and have never been treated poorly. Great food comes into demand and that is a good thing, perhaps a fast food joint would be more appropriate for some impatient Mexican food coinsures!

Ate here on a Friday night at 4 before the crowds. My friend had an enchilada platter & I had a steak chimichanga. The chimi's are huge & so good! The raspberry daiquiri was also very good, they use real fruit puree - not flavoring.

I've known of Freddy's for years, finallt went out there for dinner with my wife, food was some of the best we've had. Highly recommend, service was excellent, fair prices.

This was the place to go for a family meal in the hatley area, and I still enjoy it. Especially when you get in the back, the chimichangas are the size of a small child. The front has great margaritas and a generous salsa buffet.

This is always a great time! The owners are very friendly as well as the bartenders.. they have complimentary chips and salsa (with different levels of heat) and the food is always amazing! I had a chimichanga and they are so stuffed that I always take half home!

Oh yum. Where do I start? Freddy's is the perfect place for dinner and drinks. Start with a flavored margarita... tonight I had wild berry. Try one of their many chimi choices or my favorite- the seafood quesadilla. Finish with one of their unique desserts- or take it to go because you definitely won't have room after their large portion sizes. Or end with one of Jim's Mexican grasshoppers made with Kahlua. Don't forget to take pics with their seasonal decorations in the dining room!

Big and fantastic burritos that can't be beat! Plus free chips and salsa as an appetizer! Love this place and love the people! Been going with my parents since I was a kid and love it to death
